"agent coulson's return to the land of the living will be explained, rest assured. so, we'll go around saying your name, superhero name, as well as the year you're from. everyone nods. hi, my name is kas, not a superhero, i'm from the year 2024. as a sign of good faith, as it were, i will tell you a little bit about me." there's a smile on her face as she speaks. "like i said, my name is kas. i'm 18 years old, im a senior in high school. i have 2 brothers and one sister. i have a two year old nephew. i have two autoimmune diseases. my favorite color is blue and my favorite thing to do is watch visual media."
she points to the person on my left to continue introductions.
the next person begins speaking. "i'm tony stark, aka iron man, i'm from the year 2023." tony says, making the 'iron man' bit very dramatic.
"i'm steve rogers, or captain america, i'm from the year 2023."
"my name is natasha romanoff, black widow, i'm from 2023." a blonde woman suddenly moved to the inside of the circle. "сестра?!" the woman says. "yelena." natasha said happily. they move back to their spots.
"i am thor, son of odin, i am from the year 2024."
"hi, bruce banner, hulk, 2024."
suddenly, someone who sounds like a kid speaks up, "oh my god! Bruce banner! i'm a huge fan of-"
"yeah, the hulk, i know..." Banner says, deflated.
"what? oh no- i mean the hulk is cool, but i'm just a huge nerd and your research is so fascinating." the kid continues.
"oh- thank you." Banner says, surprised.
she finally speaks up, not wanting to interrupt that very wholesome moment. "alright, who's next?"
"clint barton, hawkeye, 2024."
"Dr. Stephen Strange, Dr. Strange- i guess, 2024."
"wanda maximoff, the scarlet witch, 2024."
"vision, 2024."
"james 'bucky' buchanan barnes, formerly the winter soldier, currently white wolf, 2024."
"princess shuri, the black panther, 2025."
"drax, drax, 2026."
"peter quill, aka starlord-" he doesn't get to finish.
"no one calls you that, peter!" the green woman standing next to him replies.
he ignores her on purpose as he continues, "i'm from 2026."
the green woman from before begins speaking, "gamora, 2026."
"rocket, rocket raccoon, 2026." a few people had to look around to see where the voice came from before everyone realized.
no one payed this any mind as the next person starts. "i am groot, i am groot, i am groot." groot replied. (i am groot, groot, 2026.)
"mantis, 2026."
"adam warlock, 2026."
"pepper potts, CEO of stark industries, 2025."
"matt murdock, daredevil, 2018."
"foggy nelson, avocado, 2018."
"karen paige, 2018."
"king t'chala, black panther, i'm from 2025."
"hi! i'm america, i'm from the year 2024." she has a huge smile on her face.
"i'm sam wilson, captain america, 2024."
"oh. my. god! i can't believe i'm in the same room as all of you! oh, right- i'm kamala kahn! or ms. marvel, i'm from 2025."
"i am nebula. 2026."
"YO! what up readers? how we hanging, babe?" a sudden voice hollers out. everyone turns to look at the person who said it, it's a man in a red and black spandex, almost leather, suit. "oh yeah! this is a different medium than what i'm used to, but i'll make it work."
"wade fucking wilson!" kas exclaims.
kas and wade laugh for a little longer before she says,
"what are you doing here, wade? i did not invite you."
"i heard you were having a party without me!" wade fake whines.
"go sit down. i'm not done over here yet. go!" kas says, with a laugh.
wade is moving before i can finish my sentence, "okay, okay, i'm going..."
the group picks their jaws up of the floor before they continue with intros.
"nicholas j fury, former director of shield, 2025."
"maria hill, former deputy director of shield, 2025."
"philip j coulson, former director of shield, 2025"
"daisy johnson, quake, 2025."
"daniel sousa, 2025." daniel and daisy are standing next to each other and holding hands. peggy notices this, but leaves it alone for now.
two people say at the same time, interrupts the intros, "daniel?"
"steve? peggy? oh my god, it's you." sousa walks up to hug them both. they hug for a moment before they let go. they continue with introductions.
"melinda may, the cavalry, 2025."
"elena rodriguez, yo-yo, 2025."
"alphonso mackenzie, but call me mack, director of shield, 2025."
"leo fitz, 2025."
"jemma simmons, 2025."
"lance hunter, 2025."
"bobbi morse, mockingbird, 2025."
"deke shaw, the D, 1992."
"mike peterson, formerly deathlock, 2025."
"davis, 2025."
"piper, 2025."
"antoine triplett, 2015."
trip and daisy run to each other for a hug. daisy still feels guilty for his death, they let go and move back to their spots.
"robbie reyes, ghost rider, 2025."
"enoch, i am a sentient chronicom from the year 2025."
"i'm flint, uhm i can control rocks and stuff, 2025."
"i'm kora, daisy's sister, 2025."
"peter parker, spider-man, 2024."
"omg. i'm ned leeds, guy in the chair, 2024."
"michelle jones but call me MJ. 2024."
"loki, god of mischief, 2025."
"loki?! oh my god!" mobius says as he runs to loki to give him a hug.
"hello, old friend." loki says with a smile as he returns the hug.
"why the hell is reindeer games here?!" tony said.
"because he's grown as a person, he's better than he was before." kas says.
it effectively ends that conversation.
"i'm peggy carter, 1947."
"i'm mobius, TVA agent, 2025."
"yelena, black widow, 2024."
"kate bishop, hawkeye, 2024."
"okay, now that intros are over, i will be explaining why you're here." kas says.
everyone takes a seat in the theater.
