It's probably quite surprising and stupid, but E***** is the one in control of everything. Well, almost everything, as a few things have slipped out of her control. She created almost all of the fun, cartoony characters you see in this universe. Here's what she looks like:

She has a ton of self hatred for herself every time she does something slightly incorrect and treats herself like a mistake that shouldn't be here. She is literally me, like, a second self insert. I'm literally shit talking about myself. She sometimes forces herself to work and do hobbies all day and all night. Nothing positive has ever come from this, but it makes her feel more productive and not a total waste of space.
When she first created Scortch, something went very wrong. They didn't turn out how she wanted them to. They were extremely hostile and rebellious, and way too powerful for her to control. So she decided to pull a Darkstalker bad ending (WoF reference) and locked them up in a void. Within a month or so, they broke free and snapped at E*****.
The rest of her backstory should be kept secret. I shouldn't have said that much about her. Please don't bring "old" Scortch up again. The new Scortch is okay though. She's way less hostile and is a lot like me ^^ I like that.
