Author's pov.
Yn wrapped her hands around his waist and put her head on his arm . Suddenly thunder roared and lightning stuck . For a moment their dark room turned bright . The view of lightning was visible through the window panes around them . Yn 's breath hitched. She started breathing heavily. Her past trauma came rushing in . Jungkook unbothered , was sleeping soundly not knowing his love was in panic . A light sob left her mouth . She hugged him tightly burying her head in the crook of his neck . Jungkook woke up due to her wet tears . He got up and pulled her into his lap. His worried eyes met yn's teary puffy ones .
Jk - what happened baby ? Are u okay huh yn ?!
Yn sniffed and shook her head pointing to the lightning outside. Again loud thunder struck and yn hugged jungkook crying more . He rubbed her back to comfort her . He gently stroke her head and whispered sweet words into her ears making yn calm slightly. He comforted her not trying to know what the problem was. He wanted her to know that he was there for her every time she needed her .
Yn calmed down and broke the hug looking into his eyes .Soon the thunder and lightning stopped but the heavy rain continued.
Yn- won't u wanna know what's wrong
Jk- if u would be wanting to tell me then only I will listen.
Jk - i will not force u to tell u princess
He said assuring her .
Yn- Jungkook
Jk - yeah baby
Yn- Remember a few minutes ago u told me to show my scars ....
The scars are not visible. They are engraved into my heart , my mind . The trauma is unforgettable. U now must be wondering what trauma am i talking about

when I was 7 years old my sister Ella died due to Cancer ... Everyone was crying but I had no emotions on my face ... I didn't even react when the news reached to my ears ... It's not like I hated her ...

Something was wrong with me , I could not express my feelings even if I tried. Whatever I spoke seemed cold and rude ...
That day , Mom was fed up and in anger she locked me in a dark room ... She went to the funeral home with the family leaving me there ... It was a rainy night ... Thunder roared and lightning struck more than million times .. my ears were ringing.. the only thing I could hear was thunder .. I started crying and screaming
Mom and dad were stuck in traffic so it took them 5 hours to reach home . Till then I passed out . I had high fever . My voice almost was inaudible. Since then I developed fear of thunder and lightning
She stopped and looked at Jungkook
Yn - now u must be feeling pity for me .. isn't it kook
Jk - Anniyo it's just that u been through so much but I was fucking not there for u
Yn- u were a kid back then . baby don't feel bad . it was none 's fault
Jk - but how could your mother be soo heartless
He said angrily yet gentle. His voice hoarse from imagining yn's pain.
Yn- when they came back and saw what happened. Mom cried a lot , she slapped and beaten herself. She said sorry million times . She even stopped talking to everyone and stopped eating for sometime... I forgave her and fixed the crack in our family
He hugged her and kissed her forehead
Jk- how could you be so kind and forgiving my princess
Yn- I have been feeling happy since the day I saw u ... U changed my life baby. You brought love again in me
He kissed her lovingly . Yn wrapped her hands around his neck pulling him closer. He broke the kiss and laid down with yn upon his chest . He reached out for a remote control and clicked a button . Soon all windows were covered with black curtains. He clicked a button again . A melody started playing from nowhere. It made yn sleepy . She slept silently in his arms feeling secure . Jungkook could not sleep well . In his mind , only yn was there . Her pain , her trauma , her diamond like tears clenched his heart . He looked at her . A tear rolled down his eyes which he wiped out quickly.
Jk- how could someone do something like that to an angel like my wife ... I truly did something Good in my past life to deserve her ..
He mumbled and soon drifted into his Dreamland after staring at yn's hypnotizing beautiful face .
