But in dreams, we join hands

Yet our hearts yearn to be free

Kept apart by life's circumstances
But no barrier can smother
This exquisite, clandestine romance
In waking, we play by society's rules
But at night, passion breaches those walls
As we give in to the pull of our souls
Inevitable, this love that enthralls
So we cherish stolen moments together
Crossing divides that keep us apart
One day we'll weather any stormy weather
United by love, though worlds apart
This hardship only intensifies the allure
Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Destiny demands we stay strong and endure
Until a new day finally dawns for us
