I'm exhausted, the story is coming along well, not nearly as fast as one would assume. I'm realizing with the creation process that I am addicted to technology, rather I was. The amount of time spent on apps like TikTok, YouTube, or Wattpad is concerning, I cannot believe how much better my life has become without them. I do still find myself even now too dependent upon them, much less, still dependent though. The internet is such a scary place, being on it so long will rework your brain's reward system, creating this sensation of instant gratification, or dopamine. This is dangerous.
I want to express to everyone reading this, the importance of being able to detach, to be able to see life for what it is, it's difficult. The experience of learning through conventional means is dying, employers are looking to hire more experienced individuals, not those with degrees. I bring this up to stress the importance of building skills, instead of becoming consumers of online content.
I love you all, looking forward towards the continuation of the story. Thank you all for the support, hopefully the first chapter draft is worth the wait.
