ℭ𝔬𝔩𝔞𝔷𝔦𝔬𝔫𝔢
The light coming in through the window caused me to slowly open my eyes. Soft, numerous pillows surrounded me in a large, frigid room.
It took me a few minutes to realize it wasn't my room as I glanced at the ceiling! The wooden design on the wall is a combination of white and brown hues. My own is limited to black and white.
I sat up in bed, trying to piece together the events of the previous evening. "Putang-ina ano'ng nangyari?" Holding my hair tight, I cursed.
Dali-dali kong kinuha ang cellphone ko, bagama't inaasahan kong low-bat ito dahil napagtanto kong pinanganak ako sa masamang kapalaran.
I slouched back down on the bed, closing my eyes in frustration. Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to recall what had happened the night before. Even though I only had a small amount of alcohol, why did the sky and the ground collapse on top of me?
Pero wala talaga ako maalala!
Sumasabay pa 'tong dress ko! Ang bigat-bigat nakakainis.
Bumangon na ako sa kama at naghanda na para umalis, kinuha ang mga gamit ko at ang phone ko. Hinawakan ko ang doorknob ng dalawang hakbang palapit sa pinto, nang biglang bumukas ang pinto at sumilip ang isang mukha.
"Ay pukina ka!" I screamed in shock. It's Chandler!
Jusko! Ano'ng ginagawa niya dito? Este ba't ako nandito? Lord naman, alam ko na marami akong kasalanan pero ba't ganito?!
"Hey!" Although he was taken aback by what I had said, he laughed and replied, "Good morning!"
"Naks! Meron ka rin palang good sa morning mo, huh?!"
I looked at him; his hair was slightly wet, and a towel hung down the back of his neck. May hawak siyang bote ng tubig at naka-jogging pants lang habang nakatingin ako sa kanyang walang sando na katawan.
"Wow, nice body. Kakauwi lang siguro nito galing gym." Bulong ko.
"What?" He raised an eyebrow at me, and when I realized that he had caught me looking at him, I felt my cheeks heat up.
Dahil sa kahihiyan, nag-isip agad ako ng sasabihin nang mapansin kong nag-init ang pisngi ko at namalayan kong namumula na ako.
"A-ano, ah... Nice! Nice morning hehe. Pumupunta ka rin pala sa gym 'no?" I asked with a hint of embarrassment.
I smiled and turned my head to the side and closed my eyes.
Nakakahiya! Gusto ko na lang mag-hit and run.
"I got you some coffee. I'll simply take a shower, just let me know when you're ready to drink it." Ani niya at tumalikod.
