[Author's note]

Wowee, this chapter was long af. Sorry for the wait, had a hard time trying to find the motivation to finish it (writing battle scenes is not my greatest strength, if some parts don't make sense, I'm sorry, I tried my best :p)

Anyhoo, before you start reading, get yourselves ready cus a lot of drama is about to happen. Yes, I love these characters with my whole heart, but my love for angst is waaay bigger *said the author while grabbing a bowl full of popcorn, prepared for the upcoming reactions*

Enjoy!

[ Trigger warning: deep injuries, violent scenes, the angst is real in this one ]

When the three little girls were just about to exit the large aircraft, all of them let out frightened gasps and screams as a giant metal arm grabbed and lifted them in the air. Panic began to set in as they realized they were being taken against their will. The crusaders did everything they could for the tall robot to free them, kicking, wriggling, begging but the mech seemed unfazed by their efforts.

"No--! Let us go!" Apple Bloom demanded.

Scootaloo grunted in his grip and glared at him, "Put us down, you- giant ugly robot!"

Wheeljack was a bit taken aback by her insult and blinked several times in response, "Ugly?"

"Swear we didn't take anything! Please, don't kill us!" Sweetie Belle pleaded.

The wrecker rolled his optics and ex-vented, "Of course ya haven't. Those gadgets are far too big and heavy for ya." as they continued to fight, Scootaloo shoved her foot in his chassis, "Quit kickin' me already! I ain't gonna hurt ya."

His unexpected reply made them to stare at him in surprise, "You... you won't?" Sweetie asked.

"Nah, I don't have any intentions of harming your kind. And even if I did, I'm not allowed to." he carefully put them down and lowered himself, "Now, would ya mind explain' to me how you three got inside my ship?"

Scootaloo poked her index fingers in nervousness and shrugged with an awkward grin, "Um- we kinda bumped into it?"

Wheeljack grumbled and shook his helm, "Great... what I'm gonna tell the rest?"

"There's more of you?!" Apple Bloom replied in shock.

"No, way! Do you have an army full of other robots?!" Scootaloo excitingly added.

"Not exactly... look- You're not even supposed to be here. Do you realize what mess ya got me into? What I'm supposed to do with buncha human younglings?"

"Hey," Sweetie crossed her arms, "We are pretty mature for our age."

"Right..." he muttered, "Anyway-where are your folks?"

Apple Bloom answered, "Funny story, Mr. Robot--"

"Wheeljack." the wrecker interrupted.

"Awesome name, dude!" the orange-skinned child beamed at him, "I'm Scootaloo, but my friends call me Scoots."

"I'm Sweetie Belle!"

"Apple Bloom. Pleasure to meet ya, sir."

"Ain't gonna remember all those names." he rested his servo on his knee, "So, what were you saying?"

"Oh, right! We went through a big portal, it was extremely big! You could even fit through it!" Apple Bloom informed.

"Really bright too! And I think it was kinda green? Or maybe it was blue..." Sweetie recalled as she tapped her chin.
