TW~Needles.
Y/N's POV
I felt my heart beating rapidly in my chest as I sat in the waiting room of the doctor's office, waiting for my turn to get the vaccinations and blood test that I had been dreading for weeks. Chris sat beside me, holding my hand tightly, offering me words of reassurance and comfort.
"Baby, you know everything will be fine. I'll be right here with you." Chris said softly, his gaze locked with mine. I nodded, trying to calm my racing nerves as the nurse called my name.
I took a deep breath and followed Chris into the examination room, where the nurse explained what she would be doing. I felt a wave of anxiety wash over me as she prepared the needles and vials of blood.
"Just focus on my voice baby, take some deep breaths and keep your eyes on me okay, don't look at the needle, I wont let go of your hand." Chris' words were comforting and calming as squeezed my hand, his eyes never leaving mine as he reassured me that I was going to be okay.
The first shot was the hardest. I winced as the needle pierced my skin, feeling the sting of the vaccine as it entered my body. Chris's grip on my hand never wavered, his voice soothing and calming me as he whispered sweet words in my ear.
I closed my eyes tightly as the nurse administered the second and third shots, feeling a wave of relief wash over me as it was finally over. The blood test was next, and I felt the familiar discomfort of the needle drawing blood from my arm. Chris kept his hand firmly in mine, his touch grounding me and reminding me that I was not alone.
As we left the doctor's office, Chris wrapped his arms around me in a tight embrace, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. "I'm so proud of you, baby," he murmured, his voice filled with love and admiration. I felt a surge of gratitude for having such a caring and supportive partner by my side.
We walked hand in hand to the car, the sun shining brightly overhead. Chris opened the passenger door for me, helping me into the seat before climbing in beside me. He started the engine and drove us home, his hand resting on my knee as he drove.
When we arrived back at our apartment, Chris made me a cup of tea and settled me on the couch with a cozy blanket. He sat beside me, pulling me into his arms and holding me close. "You did so well today, love," he said softly, his voice filled with pride. "I know it wasn't easy for you, but you were so brave."
I leaned into his embrace, feeling the warmth and security of his arms around me. "I couldn't have done it without you, Chris," I said, my voice filled with emotion. "You made it bearable for me, and I'm so grateful for you."
Chris smiled down at me, his eyes filled with love and adoration. "I would do anything for you, baby. I just want to see you happy and healthy," he said, his words filled with sincerity. "Now, let's focus on our upcoming holiday and all the adventures we'll have together."
I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation building within me. As we cuddled on the couch, watching our favorite movie and enjoying each other's company, I started to drift off to sleep in his arms, feeling safe and loved.
