TW~Vomiting and illness.

Y/N's POV

I woke up to the sound of the bathroom light turning on and the faint sound of retching. "Sam?" I called out, but after I heard no reply, I immediately got up and rushed to the bathroom, where I found Sam on his knees by the toilet, throwing up violently.

"Hey, baby, are you okay?" I asked as I knelt down behind him, rubbing his back gently and placing a kiss on his shoulder blade.

Sam shook his head as he continued to vomit. I felt my heart ache for him, knowing how much he must be suffering. "I hate this," he whispered before vomiting again. "I know Sam, I know, you're gonna be okay." I said, continuing to rub his back.

After what felt like an eternity, the vomiting and nausea finally subsided. Sam collapsed against me, and I wrapped my arms around him, feeling the weight of his body against mine.

"I'm sorry, angel," Sam mumbled, his voice weak and hoarse.

"It's okay, baby. I'm here," I whispered, running my fingers through his hair soothingly. I pressed a kiss to his cheek, trying to offer him some comfort.

I helped Sam up from the bathroom floor and guided him to the sink, where he brushed his teeth to get rid of the taste of bile in his mouth. I could see how exhausted he was, and my heart ached for him even more.

"Stay here for me baby, get back into bed whilst I grab some stuff." I say, as he nods, getting back into bed.

I quickly got up to fetch him some water, a piece of toast, and some medicine for his upset stomach. I brought them back to our bedroom, where Sam was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking pale and tired.

"Sam, why aren't you in bed? Here, baby. Take this," I said, handing him the medicine and the water.

Sam took the pills and drank the water, but he only ate a small bite of the toast before setting it aside.

"I'm not really hungry," he mumbled, looking down at the barely eaten toast.

"It's okay, Sam. Just try to eat a little bit, okay? It'll make you feel better baby." I said, trying to encourage him.

He took the toast again, and ate one of the slices before putting the plate back onto the bedside table.

I lay down on the bed, and Sam lay down next to me, resting his head on my chest. I could feel his body relaxing against mine, his breathing slowing down as he finally started to drift off to sleep.

I ran my hand through his hair, feeling the softness of it beneath my fingers. I pressed a gentle kiss to the top of his head, feeling a rush of love and tenderness for this man who meant everything to me.

"I love you, Sam," I whispered, knowing that he was already asleep but wanting to tell him anyway.

I closed my eyes, holding him close to me, feeling the warmth of his body against mine.
