Chapter 17

Clawdeen: a diary? really?

Draculaura hands her a purple notebook

Draculaura: you don't have to write down your secrets, you can just write down your life story or ideas for when you grow up. your just not talking to us about certain stuff, so maybe this could help

Clawdeen sighed and took it

Clawdeen: thanks

Draculaura smiled

Draculaura: I'll be outside getting some zappucinos with Clawd

she walked out of the dorm and shut the door. Clawdeen laid on her bed and opened her notebook

Clawdeen: maybe I could write down my life? a lot of bad stuff happened...

she grabbed a pencil and began writing

Clawdeen: my name is Clawdeen Wolf, I am technically the eldest child of the former Were-Ruler, Selena. my father is a human named Apollo, I was born on August 30th 2007 thinking I was just a regular human girl. but I wasn't, I was a hybrid between a werewolf and a human. after a couple years when I have grown quite a bit, I took walks with my parents and learned many things, and I was always very curious... *chuckle* I just wanted to know everything...

FLASHBACK

a 5 year old Clawdeen was sitting near the forest with her mother who was reading a book. Clawdeen had her eyes locked on her mother's Moon-Claw necklace when her eyes went to the forest and she heard a voice

*in the woods...*

Clawdeen: mommy? can I go into the woods?

Selena looked up from her book to her young daughter

Selena: we've been over this Clawdeen, no. the woods are very dangerous, you can easily get lost

Clawdeen: but what if monsters live in there?

Selena: still believe in monsters?

Clawdeen: I know they are real! if I can just prove it, maybe Buddy and the other kids will stop picking on me!

Selena: well sweetie, sometimes you can't change other people's minds. they believe what they want to believe

Clawdeen: but wouldn't it be easier if we all believed in the same things?

Selena: but that would mean we would all be the same, and wouldn't it be boring living in a world where everyone looked and acted the same?

Clawdeen sighed and rubbed her neck

Clawdeen: I guess so...

Selena tickled her daughters tummy, making her laugh. Selena then placed her Moon-Claw on her daughter's neck

Selena: you can have this for the rest of the day sweetie, mommy is going for a walk

Clawdeen: I'll Take Good Care Of It!

Selena hugs her daughter and kisses her forehead

Selena: I love you Deen

Clawdeen: I Love You Too Mommy!

Clawdeen happily stands back up and runs back home into her father's waiting arms. as he picks her up, she looks back at her mother and waves before the door shuts behind her

END OF FLASHBACK

Clawdeen chuckles at that memory before a frown appears on her face as she continues writing

Clawdeen: little did I know, that would be the last time I would see my mom in person for the next 10 years. she hadn't returned home that night and my father went out looking everyday to find her, but after 4 weeks of searching, we gave up and she became a memory of mine. the bullying, got worse, to the point that I wanted to take my life, but with help from my dad, I got better. soon after I turned 15 and got to keep mom's Moon-Claw necklace, I found a high school for monsters, found my boo crew, saved my brother from a different dimension, learned more about my mom, met Catarina the Were-Ruler, went to the Monster Ball, learned Catarina trapped mom in Beheme, be-friended Toralei, defeated Catarina, saved my mom, became the new Were-Ruler, grew closer with Clawd, saved him, mom, and dad and some other monsters from Mr Fright, and that's pretty much all that has happened to me, write to you later diary!
