Chapter 6

The horn blared louder than the grunting of the horses.

"L-Levy are you sure this is safe for you?"

"Relax, nothing will happen."

She looked at the field confidently, how were they so confident?

"Lu-chan did you know we had another name for ourselves."

I looked at her puzzled, another name?

"We used to call ourselves Fairy Tail before well the war. We were explorers. So we always wondered whether fairies even have tails. Its a life's mission. We're used to loosing and winning. We're used to sacrifices but we will always keep moving on. One day we will find out whether fairies even have tails. Then once we do we'll smile knowing we didn't waste our life listening to someone else. We'll smile knowing we lived our life joyfully."

Those word stuck me, that's how they're always grinning and smiling. They know they might loose, but they also know there is hope and faith.

Flashback Starts

We were in Zeref's room both me and Ultear. And that both of us were around 7 or 8. Zeref was well over a 100.

"Listen to me Lucy. You will NEVER use this whip and NEVER use you powers unless its for self defense and you have no choice. Or else you will use these knives for you safety."

He threw me two knives on the floor which clanged on impact. 

Ever since then, I have never used my celestial power. My spirts were mad at me but at a loving way. They said I was hurting my own self my doing so. Mages need spiritual power to thrive, they need to use it atleast once a month. But I wasn't even using it once  a year. Its been 10 years since then and I've never used it even once.

Once I accidently used it because I was too weak. I was around 12 and my closest celestial spirit, Aquarius helped me before almost collapsing. However Zeref saw me and broke the key that I had. Ever since then the keys transformed into a charm, and I've never used them in my life.

Ever since then I've never seen Aquarius, but she gave me a gift. A parting gift.

Flashback Ends.

No I don't have a choice. I will never be out from Zeref's rule.

"Lu-chan are you fine?"

I nodded gently and put a fake smile on my face.

"ONWARDS!" The Flame Lord screamed.

And off they went. It was sunset by the time I heard the first screams and yells. The blood pouring on the green lushy plains. 

It took time but I saw more and more people come to camp and reach the Healer's tent.

"Levy I think its best you go inside. There might be soldiers who could breach camp."

However Levy quickly moved her head and I got the fact that she wasn't going anywhere until the war ends. I slowly got up and walked over to the Healer's camp where Wendy was working her butt of.

"Child how many times have I told you not to work so hard!"

"I-I know Carla but I have to!"

A white exceed came out from the cupboard and gave her some bandages and some medicines. 

I went inside the tent and whispered.

"Could I help here?"

Carla looked at me suspiciously while Wendy readily nodded.

"Yes please! Carla please show her some way."

I took time understanding how to help the injured but sooner or later I understood the basics and helped some of the soldiers. The blood came on my white satin dress and I wondered if Juvia could help me a little with cleaning it. But could she? When I met her she was really serious in her work and all.

The moon was at its highest peak by the time I came out of the tent and the soldiers who were strengthened by the moon's power went back to war.

That's when I realized Zeref's army was pushing back to the camp, I saw glimpses of Jellal and Gajeel fighting with their most. I even saw the Flame lord working himself up and forming fire wherever he could.

"Levy! I think now we should go back!"

Levy looked at me and stood up. She then slowly walked back to the healer's camp where I was but then I heard the yell.

"LEVY! LOOK BEHIND YOU!" Gajeel screamed out.

An entire squadron of soldiers was behind her. 

For a brief moment everything was slow. Gajeel and the Flame Lord who were screaming and yelling to get their but they can't reach her in moments. The squadron's soldiers was probably 100 or so. Levy wont be able to run so fast with her pregnant self even if she is a werewolf. My knives won't be able to kill 100 or so from so far away! What can i do, what can I do! Even so if I could, I would be killing my own comrades!

Lucy, you can do it...

A faint whisper echoed in my brain and everything happened without thinking.

Third POV-

Lucy was stuck there while Levy tried to run. Natsu and Gajeel had run out of energy to teleport or run to save her. 

Then it happened.

Lucy immediately picked up her knives and cut the magic remover on her hands, even though it scratched her skin. 

Everyone looked at  the robust power of light that shone across the sky.

"Open Gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus!"

Out of the blue a bull came out from nowhere and embraced Levy in his heavy hands and ran back to camp while almost at the same time a girl with blonde buns and a cow shirt came out. She had a long withstanding black whip that she immediately pulled onto, and like mosquitoes the entire 100 soldiers flew across the sky.

Lucy was feeling a power of energy. She felt her own essence back, she felt her self gaining power and joy. She felt free.

Gajeel gaped at the miracle and Natsu just ran up to Lucy in a smile. Nobody had seen a Celestial fight in a long time, so it really was a wonderful delicacy to see one personally.

"Not at friendly terms with your spirts eh?" Natsu laughed sarcastically. Levy was safely back with Wendy in the Healer camp and the Lucy sure made the impression that it wasn't safe for any soldier to come in back.

"Lucy! It sure is nice to se your curvy body again!" the Bull said to her with a huge axe hung on his back.

"Shut up Taurus!" Lucy was happy to see him too, but she almost forgot his cheeky pick up lines.

"Hey Bunny-Girl!"

Gajeel yelled to her, although Lucy sure wasn't happy with the name she got.

"Thanks for saving her."

Lucy had never received a thanks ever in her life. So this one that she did, made her eyes sparkle more. Natsu even realized that for the first time the dull eyes that he saw on her face the day before lighted up with joy now. He knew that for the first time he was looking at the real Lucy.
