Chapter 4

It's the day . I wake up from my bed and begin to do my regular morning routine here . Brushing teeth , Brushing hair then putting on my outfit . I rarely shower here cause they don't provide Hot water . I get ready then proceed out .

" Hey ! Morning " Someone says .
It's Ryan , he is standing in front of me.
"Hello ! Good morning ! " I say . He smiles then I look at him , he is looking kinda cute ..hot today with that wet hair , WET HAIR ?
"You took a shower ?! " I shout
" Yea , why , don't you shower ? " He asks me
"No , I haven't showered since like the second day I was here , they don't give me hot water ! I need my hot water " I say .
" Sigma's don't need hot water " He says
winking at me
" Guess I am not sigma enough .." I say sighing
Ryan laughs then comes near me
"You remember the bet we have right ? "
He says . I nod , I don't know why I am excited , I don't like this connection I am beginning to grow with him , I don't like him , or do I ?

" Get ready today is your test day ! I'll take you to the lab , but I will not be there for you " He says .
I am excited as well as scared for what's about to happen to me .Christina is about to test some product on me , I quite don't remember but I think it was some P, O 12 or some shit . Ryan walks as I follow behind him , he always keeps a gun and a walkie talkie on him at all times . The hallways are all filled with different paintings of Christina and her workers in a lab . It's grey and a little bit of light gives it an aesthetic and creepy look .
It's so silent that only Ryan's boot and my shoes thumping the ground can be heard . After a while light can be seen .

Just a few 3 meters ahead from us lies a door . It pours light through his glass panes on it . Ryan walks to it and opens the door , " You are on your own from here , and when you return better get your cheek ready for me " He says .
I smile then I begin to walk but Ryan pulls me to him then hugs me , tight .
I can hear his heartbeat as my cheeks grow pinker each second . I hear his faint breathing and my heartbeat matches his . I don't want to talk but words slip from my mouth " What are you doing ? " A faint soft voice says . He slowly pushes me back and says " Motivating, I thought you needed this "
"I am fine "I say
" Alright then hope that made you feel somewhat better , Good luck " He says .
I thank him , smile then walk in . I turn once but he's already looking towards the way we came from , like a guard .

" Welcome Ms. Martin" Someone says .
I know who that is ! It's Christina .
I look forward, then there she was, standing with her well-known black outfit .
"I think you have developed bonding with Davies , are you guys in love ? " She asks .
I blush then awkwardly shake my head ,and slowly say " No not really , he was just giving me some relief " .
"Alright then , I hope you are ready for this " she says .
" What exactly is this I am trying ?" I ask
" Didn't Davies tell you already ? " She says shocked
I shake my head signaling for a no .
" Oh seems like he forgot , PU-12 is a new and more developed version of our PU-11 formula it's our 3rd addition, we started with 10 now we are two updates in " She says .

"Why exactly did you start this at 10 ? And what does it do ? " I pour my questions out .
" Well , we didn't start on 10 actually . 10 is the released version . 1-10 were trial versions . And for what it does , just like our other parts it gives you a random boost of power and a random superpower he rested with our strong AI , this is why we named our invention PU , which stands for Power Unleash.
This formula improves the time for the superpower , before it was just 12
hours now it's  24 hours . Now your questions are all answered right ? " She says .
I nod then she signals me to follow her .
She opens a room to a white room then gets me in there . She closes the door and walks away ....
