A message from The Lord!.
God showed mercy and compassion and gave them all a second chance!
So he headed straight for Nineveh and telling them about God's love
Three days later that big whale spat him out!
Burp!
From inside the whale he prayed
And said that He was sorry to God asking Him for a second chance!
He sat alone he was sure he would die inside the whale!
He didn't want to go
He was a prophet of God! Meaning he was special
The wind blew the sky got dark!
Crash! Went the thunder!
Splash! Went the waves!
Flash ! Went the lightning!
" Somebody up there must be really upset with somebody down here!
"This is a storm like I've never seen before!
|If we don't do something quick, we're gonna sink!
To get the storm to stop Jonah walked the plank!
That someone was Jonah because he had ignored God!
Splash! Into the water he went
|God is the God of second chances!
He was swallowed up by a hungry whale!
Gulp!
|Oh Lord don't let us die for this man's sin!
