Chapter 10 - Don't lose your guard. . .

Lloyd's POV

We spent ages at the oasis but it was getting dark so we headed back to the monastery. Sora fixed the bounty. . .by hand. Riyu still refused to give her a spark so by the time she was done the moon had already risen. We finally set sail. Sora was practising with Meher. Zane and Kai were playing chess. Zane was winning obviously. Harumi was helping Kai. Well trying. I was steering the ship in my old world what did the dragon mean,

"Don't lose your guard?" The word echoed in his mind. I am a ninja. I will be fine

Right?

Nya's POV

It was getting dark and we still hadn't warned the fire dragon.

"Let's go," I called to the Arin and Jay

"Coming!"

I prayed Cole and Wyldefyre had found the Draco Compass. We needed to find the Draco compass all of ninjago depended on it

Cole's POV

We ran. Definitely did not accidentally set off the alarm. At least we got Zane's device.

"I want you to know I blame you for this," yelled Wyldfyre

"Me? What did I do?"

"You set off the alarm,"

"No I told you to be careful while taking it,"

"And I was,"

"You were so not,"

"Yes,"

"No,"

"Yes,"

"No,"

"Yes,"

How does Kai deal with this?

"The gate is closing," she said frantically

For once she was right. We ran faster than a cheetah I swear. We slid and. . . made it. I stopped to catch my breath. Did a small victory dance inside my head but was quickly interrupted by

"Glad to see you here."

I looked up it was Nya and Arin and . . JAY. I got up and hugged him. Tight.

"Do I know you?" He asked

I looked at Nya

"He lost his memories," She told me

"Makes Sense,"

I hugged him again "Just so you know I missed you,"

"Okaaaaay," he said trying to remember me

"Let's go find the fire dragons," Arin said impatiently

'East' It said

We climbed on our dragons and flew away leaving the administration behind in the distance.

Nya's POV

2 hours of looking for the fire dragons. 2 hours of flying. 2 hours of trying not to sleep. It is exhausting.

"Do you see anything Cole," I yelled with the minimum energy I had left

"Not yet,"he replied

"I'm soooo tired," complained Jay "and why is it soo hot am I sick?"

"No. . .we made it the dragon colony," Yelled Arin

I sighed a sigh of relief. Finally. They were in a fiery fire field. It was like 110 degrees there. I thought I was gonna melt

As we landed there were dozens of eyes looking at us.

"WHO ARE YOU?" said the largest dragon of all. I guessed was the leader

"About the Draco Venator they are coming to capture you."

"Very wise but beware Nya don't lose your guard,"

Lose my guard?

"What? And how do you know my name?" I asked

"Everything will make sense soon I promise,"it said then vanished. Gone. Poof

"Okay. . .Can we go home now?" whined Jay

"Let's go," I smiled

Lloyd's POV

The mission felt. . .unfinished. I felt like we were missing something. I just don't know. Maybe what the dragon said?

"Whatcha you thinking?" asked Harumi snapping me out of my thoughts

"Nothing."

"Really?"

"OK just about what the dragon said."

"Don't worry about it,"

"Yeah maybe. . ."

"Come on, I heard that drawing with your opposite hand sounds fun."

I grinned "Okay call everyone,"

We finally gathered in the living room. Zane wasn't allowed to play because he is a nindroid, no explanation needed."

"Okay Zane pick an object to draw," I said

"A cup of water,"

"Okay,"

We started drawing. Zane was circling us; he was really taking his job of judge seriously. He stopped at Sora

"Who are you?" he asked

We looked up at Zane "What?"

"I mean that is not Sora," he said

"What do you mean Zane did you get damaged or something?" Meher asked

"I mean did you not find it weird that Riyu didn't give her the spark?"

I looked at Sora and she looked pale.

"She never came back with the samosas saying they had run out I called the guy who ran the shop he said Sora never came,"

"And Sora is left handed whenever she plays this game she draws with her right hand and she was drawing with her left,"

We all looked at Sora. She looked shocked but then it turned into an evil grin.

"Haha you got me,"she said evilly, her face melted into an imposter's face.

Then everything went black.

I had lost my guard.
