Well , should I give him a tiny complimentary gift? However, this is just our first date so What if he felt that I was an eerie?

I'm not an affluent individual; my parents are tiny farmers in the area, and they just own a little plot of land and my financial needs are met by scholarships because I don't have much money to buy or to spend .
