Steven and the Girl

Dragonstone Pov

The other gems and I were walking on the beach while there were tremors occurring and shaking the earth as we made our way toward the beach house and listened to Pearl speaking

Pearl: "I don't think they are earthquakes, they are too frequent." They stopped as they saw a bicycle roll and fall at their feet

Amethyst: "Hey, look, Steven's got a bike." Steven came running toward his bike and put it upright "Where are you going Steven?"

Dragonstone: "Do you need someone to accompany you?" I said while standing with my arms crossed

Steven: "No, thanks. I'm just going out for a ride."

Pearl: "In the sand?"

Steven: "Yup!" He rolled his bike off n's got on it before trying to ride but his bike moved very slowly, unbeknownst to him a dark figure was lurking behind him

Dragonstone: 'What could you be up to.' I thought to myself while watching him as he stopped his bike when seeing a girl and tried catching her attention by explaining its specs and ranging the bell 'hmm...a human courtship ritual, I remember when Greg was like that.' I watched as he tried by getting on the bike but fell off as the girl finally looked causing him to get flustered and run away

Steven: he through his helmet off "Ahhh!" He ran back to the beach house

Dragonstone: "Steven!" I ran after him as he went into the beach house and I followed behind him to see the other crystal gems who were watching by the window

Steven: "What up?" He said nervously

Pearl: "Who we're you talking to?" She asked inquisitively as Steven tried acting natural and backed up into Dragonstone

Dragonstone: "A girl." I crouched down by the knee and came to his level "You showed interest in her. Peculiar." I watched as Steven blushed and tensed up before looking off to the side

Steven: "You saw? She's just a girl I know. Except she doesn't know me." His face dropped "We've never talked"

Amethyst: she gasped and ran up to him, squishing his face with her hand "You like her!"

Steven: he stammered nervously "I like everyone."

Dragonstone: "True, but this human girl caused you to react in ways to gain her attention." I said while still level with him

Steven: "Dragonstone! I told you to stop eavesdropping on me!" He blushed and lord away

Dragonstone: "You we're hiding something, I can't have you endangering yourself through acts of secrecy." I said sternly and stood upright wit my eyes closed and arms crossed

Pearl: she gasped excitedly "Let's set up a play date. I'll write up an invitation and workout a schedule." She gasped again in realisation "oh, we'll have to find out her favourite kind of tea..." garnet cut her off

Garnet: "No. just talk to her." She said plainly

Steven: "Okay. But you guys can't watch this time!" He pointed at the three gems and turned to Dragonstone "It'll mess up my funky flow!"

Pearl and Amethyst: "Funky flow?" They said in confusion

Garnet: "We won't watch." She fixed her glasses and looked at Dragonstone who nodded

Dragonstone: "Yeah, no eavesdropping." I gave him a thumbs up

Steven: "Alright." He ran to the freezer and grabbed a strange glow bracelet before running to the door

Amethyst: "What's that?"

Steven: "Nothing!" He said as he ran out the door and it closed behind him as Dragonstone looked like he wanted to follow

Garnet: "Dragonstone, don't do it."

Dragonstone: "I'm curious, this girl seems to have a strange effect on him, I don't want her to take advantage." I said with my arms crossed

Pearl: she laughs slightly "Oh please, Dragonstone, these are human children, not Homeworld gems."

Amethyst: "Yeah, chill out, DT!" She walked up and punched his arm as he sighed

Dragonstone: "I really wish you'd stop that." He got punched again in his arm as he just rolled his eyes "Of course." The tremors suddenly kicked in again making the area shake "This is way to reoccurring to be natural."

Garnet: "We will deal with it." Dragonstone shrugged and walked off to his room as the door opened to his cavern filled with riches

Dragonstone: "if Steven needs me he'll call." I went to my piles of different shining objects before going through them

Still Dragonstone Pov

After what felt like a short amount of time I heard screaming and my pupils narrowed to slits as I rushed out of my room and them out of the beach house door where I jumped off the patio into the sand and dashed toward the source of the noises where I found Steven and the human being chased by a corrupted gem with the appearance of a worm

Dragonstone: "Steven!"

Steven: "Dragonstone! A little help?" He yelled as they ran before Dragonstone clenched his jaw as his gem gave off a glow as the energy expelling from it formed into his giant claws and he dashed forward causing a dust cloud behind him and a crimson Red Cross formed in the centre of the corrupted gems head "Woah..."

Human girl: "That guys your friend?" They both stared in awe as the worm gem screeched in pain before it fell in two and exploded in a cloud of red smoke and its gem fell into Dragonstone's hand before his claws disappeared

Dragonstone: "Are you okay?" I turned to them before squeezing my hand closed slightly and opening it as the gem was bubbled

Gems: "Steven!" They came running to see Dragonstone standing with the two children

Pearl: "What's going on? What did he do?" Dragonstone turned to them with the two children marvelling at him

Dragonstone: "They helped us solve our tremor problem." I tapped the bubbled before it warped away to the temple

Connie: "It was incredible! Steven made the worm chase us and then he came and did that cool attack! It was like a superhero scene!" Her eyes were twinkling

Steven: "Huh? I helped? I mean! I helped!" He put his hands on his hips before handing her the glow in the dark bracelet "Here's your bracelet...again."

Connie: "Thanks." She chuckled before Dragonstone turned to them and crouched down to them  as Pearl and Amethyst leaned over his shoulder

Amethyst: "So..."

Dragonstone: "Do we get an introduction?"

Pearl: "Steven was so excited to meet you! Right, Steven?" Steven gained a blush on his cheeks as he nodded nervously before Garnet walked up and lifted Pearl and Amethyst

Garnet: "Hey! Don't mess with his funky flow." Dragonstone lifted his hands and also backed up as the four left the two children

Dragonstone: "He's like his father, especially when it comes to those of the opposite gender." I chuckled softly while we walked off
