All she wanted was to see Daryl come out from the trees, Carol behind. But she knew it wasn't going to happen, not after learning that they just drove off without a word.
She knew the others were coming up with a plan of attack. And Harley knew she wasn't going to be apart of it. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't prove herself to these people.
Nora watched her friend for a moment before Rick's words drew her attention away,
"They think they're in control. We're in here and they could be anywhere. But we know exactly where they are."
"Plan's got stones, I'll give you that." Abraham commented,
"Make our move before they do." Glenn added,
"That's right." Rick nodded, "They're not counting on us thinking straight."
"Are we?" His blue eyes connected with Nora's, "It's a big play. All of our vulnerable in one room, basically sitting ducks? What if you guys don't get back in time and they gut us? Or they open fire the moment they get into the church?" She sighed and shook her head, "There's a lot of risks."
Rick nodded, "There are." He approached her, "That's why you and Tyreese will stay back. Rosita and Harley, too. You'll be here to protect the others. And you need to trust that we'll be back. We'll end this."
Nora kept eye contact for a moment. Of course she trusted Rick, but that doesn't mean that Gareth hand his goons won't kill them instantly. They destroyed their home, killed their family.
He won't show mercy.
"Okay." Nora whispered.
Rick nodded, "Remembered what these people are capable of." He told her before turning to Tyreese, who was staring off into space, "Tyreese."
"Yeah?"
"You up for this?"
Before he could answer, his sister appeared in the doorway, "I'm going with you."
"You should stay with Bob." Tyreese told her.
As much as Nora understood why Sasha wanted to be part of this, her need for revenge, she couldn't help but think of Bob. He had only hours left, and Sasha should be with him for all of it. There was valuable time that she won't get back.
