𝟏𝟎 | 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡

The angel watched as the three demons reached their hands to her, trying to touch various parts of her body and she couldn't help but close her eyes, praying that somebody would help her. But she didn't feel anything physically.

"Babydoll, you're okay now, no need to fear." A melodic voice spoke to her, killing the silence.

She opened her eyes and looked up to see a demon she hasn't seen before, but quickly after that a cloud of pink smoke that he breathed out covered her vision, the scent of strawberries calming her down almost instantly. She blinked a couple times as the smoke disappeared, now able to get a better look at the demon in front of her.

He wore what looked like a long, red coat that matched his tall hat, a long black and white feather sticking out on top. White fur with red hearts splattered over it covered his neck and heart shaped glasses rested on his face. He was extending his hand out for the angel to take, a gentle smile on his lips.

The girl took his hand and he pulled in to help her stand up. She tried to look behind her to see what happened to the other three demons, noticing a pair of legs laying limp on the floor before her gaze was forced back forward, the tall demon holding her cheek gently.

"No need to look back there, I'm right here, hm?" He held her hand with one hand and her cheek with the other. And that's when the girl noticed he had two pairs of arms, another hand reaching up and fixing her hair, putting a strand of hair behind her ear.

She felt calm in his presence, how gentle he was being with her and the innocent fruity smell that filled the air. "Thank you, sir." She smiled. "I know it's a lot of me to ask, but, could you help me find a place to stay for the night? I'm not exactly from around here."

His smile grew. "Of course, cariño, and... You can call me Val." He came to stand next to her, the hold on her hand never leaving, as he led her down the street.

They made pleasant conversation as they walked, the angel letting herself forget about the rough situation she just went through at the Hazbin Hotel. Val looked like a great person, he was very charismatic and easy to make conversation with. She also noticed how he would only hold her hand, even though so far everyone led her by the waist, or by holding her shoulder, which was strange but she tried to pay it no mind.

As they came to a stop, the angel looked up to see the very tall building that she noticed earlier, a sign with three V's on the very top. "Wow... is this a hotel?"

"Oh, no, it's where I live, cutie." He chuckled, walking inside the building with her, everyone in the lobby suddenly stopping their work to look at the two. "We have many spare rooms, you can stay here for as long as you need."

Valentino looked at all the employees irritated and he snapped his fingers, everyone returning to work quickly after he did.

"That's very kind of you, Val." She smiled widely, not having expected such an act from him. "I owe you."

He chuckled to himself and walked into an elevator, clicking on a blue button that read the number 50. Soon after the elevator shot up and stopped just after a few seconds, the door opening to reveal a neon lit hallway with a huge door at the end.

"There's some people I want you to meet, my roommates, if you will. It would be rude if I didn't introduce you." He held her hand again after she nodded, and they walked down the hallway, two demons opening the door, bowing as they approached closer.

The angel thanked the two servants who raised their eyebrows in confusion.

The two walked into the room, a blue color scheme all around. There was a big blue table in the middle, with three seats close to each other. In the background she could see two big sharks swimming in a huge fish tank. Two demons sat by the table, both unenthusiastically scrolling on their phones.

"Wow..." The girl exclaimed, looking around the luxurious room as suddenly, the noise made the two demons look up from their phones, staring at both her and Valentino in disbelief.

After the two didn't say anything for a while, Val cleared his throat loudly and raised one of his hands, waiting for them to say something. Maybe they would praise him for his work, or just simply introduce themselves to the angel. The two demons on the other hand, couldn't believe what they were seeing, the angel they've been trying to track down and kidnap is willingly standing right in front of them, holding Valentino's hand nonetheless.

"My, what do we have here?" Vox stood from his chair, approaching the two with a big smile on his face. "Who is this charming, little creature?"

"My name is [Y.N], it's nice to meet you both, I hope I'm not intruding... I just hoped I could stay here for a night." She smiled, watching the man in the blue suit who had a television screen instead of a head.

"Oh, not at all, we are very happy to have you here. Right, Velvette?" He turned his head around to look at the uniquely dressed girl with huge purple hair, who was currently taking pictures with her phone.

"Oh, yea, 'course not." She giggled and put her phone away, leaning on her hands to watch the others.

Valentino let go of the girl's hand and bent down, getting on her height level. "And really, you can stay here for as long as you want, we're happy to have a new face around here." He stood upright again, looking at robot girl with red hair. "Kitty! Take [Y.N] to one of our rooms, the good ones."

The robot girl nodded as she dashed to the door, holding it open and waiting for the angel to follow. Valentino pat the girl's head and gave her a gentle smile, she thanked him one more time before walking over to Kitty, who soon led her away and to one of the rooms.

Back in the conference room, Vox grabbed Valentino's shoulders. "You beautiful bastard, how the fuck did you do it? Her phone is still at the Hotel." The two laughed as Valentino lit another cigar, taking a drag from it and breathing it out, clouding the room with pink smoke.

"It was fucking easy, that bitch is so gullible, I didn't even need to say anything, she followed me here." He chuckled to himself, happy with the praise. "She even said she owes me." 

"We're going to be fucking rich!" He chuckled, taking both Valentino and Velvette who approached under his arms.

In the meantime, [Y.N] admired the room that Kitty was presenting after she went off to the bathroom, leaving the girl alone. There was a huge bed with soft, velvet covers in the middle, a big dresser filled with clothes and a vanity full of products, not only make-up but also skin care. There was a huge TV on one of the walls, a round logo with a blue V in the middle bouncing off the four walls of the screen.

"Your bath is ready, miss [Y.N]." Kitty stood in front of the bathroom door, holding it open.

The angel girl walked up to her, saying thank you and went inside of the bathroom. The smell of fresh strawberries immediately hitting her nostrils and the soft pink color scheme of the furniture calming her down further. Kitty closed the door behind her, turning away as to not make the girl uncomfortable.

After getting undressed, she entered the bubble bath, the warm water relaxing her muscles as she further sank into the bathtub, letting her eyes close in comfort. The sudden but gentle touch on her shoulders making her jump away, but after realizing it was Kitty who held a shampoo bottle in her hand, she nodded and closed her eyes again.

The robot girl applied the shampoo on the girl's hair, gently spreading it on her head and massaging it into her scalp. Furthermore, she began rubbing her temples as well, which provided even more comfort to the girl. When she was done, she moved down to massage the angel's neck and shoulders, a soft hum leaving the girl's lips as the tension slowly left her body.

She was never spoiled like this before, and although she promised to leave after one day, she couldn't help but wonder if staying a little longer wouldn't be so bad, after all.

Maybe for once, she could be a little greedy.
