Lyra's world dissolved into a whirlwind of pain and despair as she was thrust into the heart of the Master's machine. Every fiber of her being screamed in protest as the cold, metal tendrils snaked their way around her, their icy touch searing her skin like fire. She could feel her essence being torn apart, ripped from her with merciless precision as the machine siphoned off her power, her memories, her very soul.

Agony engulfed her in a tidal wave of suffering as she wailed in anguish, her screams echoing off the walls of the chamber. It felt as though every nerve in her body was on fire, each heartbeat a symphony of torment as the machine dug deeper, feeding on her pain like a ravenous beast.

Tears streamed down Lyra's face as she fought against the overwhelming tide of agony, her mind reeling with thoughts of despair and desperation. She could feel herself slipping away, losing herself in the maelstrom of torment as the machine drained her of everything that made her who she was.

Meanwhile, aboard the Master's ship, the Doctor's heart seized with dread as Lyra's screams echoed through the corridors. With a sense of grim determination, they raced towards the source of the sound, their mind ablaze with a thousand thoughts and fears.

But their path was blocked by the Master, their twisted smile gleaming with sadistic delight as they barred the Doctor's way. "Ah, Doctor," they sneered, their voice dripping with malice. "So good of you to join us. I was just about to introduce you to our little experiment."

The Doctor's hearts pounded in their chest as they struggled against the Master's grip, their eyes fixed on Lyra's writhing form. They could feel their hearts breaking as they watched her suffer, unable to tear their gaze away from the scene unfolding before them.

And as Lyra's cries of agony filled the air, the Doctor knew that they had to find a way to stop the Master before it was too late—to rescue Lyra from the clutches of evil and restore peace to the universe once more. For they knew that as long as there was breath left in their body, they would never give up the fight—not while there was still hope to be found in the darkness.
