⚠️TW mentions death, I will put a ⚠️ in the titles of poems I think can be triggering , please check in the description and make sure nothing I've written triggers you.⚠️
I'm sorry
I still can't wrap my head around,
that you can't make a sound,
six-foot underground,
I stare at the dirt mound.I miss your crooked smile,
that I could sense for miles,
I miss the way you'd talk,
and that odd step in your walk,I was too young to understand ,
Why everyone was dressed black and bland,
I'm so sorry ,
I should've been more worried,I was trying to cheer everyone up ,
But they kept weeping and crying full sore,
I thought I was a bore,
I'm so sorry,I understand why you said,
You love to look at the sky before bed,
Now I try find your star in the sky,
The brightest, it twinkles and I cry,I'm so sorry for that day .
I have nothing more to say .
I now stand where you lay .
Waiting for myself to pay.
