Today is my 20th birthday.I should be
I have this weird feeling that something wrong will happen

Today there is a huge ball in the Palace in which many princes , kings, and princesses of neighbouring kingdom will come.

She blabbered standing at the entrance of my chamber"queen, most of the kings of neighbouring kingdom have arrived and they are asking about your presence. "

" i am dressed . I shall not let any of my guest wait. "I said and my legs began moving towards the hall .

I walked inside the hall. It was well decorated. I roamed my eyes searching for her, there was my mother.
She was talking to some guest . I assume
That she forgot me after coming back from her pilgrimage. She didn't even
Come to meet me .I know I was probably whinning but I missed her alot after my
Father she is my support system

I only have her and my brother to call
As family.

My eye's still looking at her back after a moment I saw that she was moving towards me.

She had a small smile on her face. My heart ached that she could still manage to smile after father's demise

I know she must be very sad about hearing father's demise .

He was the love of her life after all but I know that my mother was the strongest women I know.

Eventhough she was not here during father's demise as she went to her home ,my nanihaal and when she returned baba was dead .

The horrible scene played before my eyes as i saw my mother holding my baba's lifeless body
I quickly shrugged the scene before me
And embraced my mother's small body

I left to greet other guest with a fake smile

Fucking finally I have talked to almost all the guest . Now I am going towards my throne to sit and then announce for
The food to be served as uptil now only drinks were served .

I was moving towards the throne and suddenly my eyes met his eyes .

That fucking king.he was the king of My rival kingdom. I guess I  didn't notice sending an invite to him too.

He always gets on my nerves .
That bastard always say opposite of my
Word . He can never agree with me about any matter

"Hello there ,my queen nice to meet you" He said with a smirk and was about to grab
My hand probably to kiss it

I wasn't going to let it happen as I stepped back a little and said quickly
" my king , its nice to meet you too , i was just about to announce the serving of food , i guess you should try the speciality of our kingdom"

"I would definitely try it since its the specialty of your kingdom, my queen" he said smirkingly ,

I someday may as well kill him. He is the most irritating person I have ever met

I sighed not today I guess
I bowed a little in respect.
I dont gave a fuck about his respect

I then finally sat on my throne. As I announce for the serving of food

I was fucking tired I just want to sleep .I have court tomorrow

When I was eating my food.
I felt a gaze on me .
I knew whose gaze it is
I thought as my eyes locked with his
And I was lost in his dark black eyes
I felt as if I am falling into the darkness of his eyes
After sometime we broke the eye contact
Technically I broke it since he was still looking in my eyes .

I guess we were looking into his eyes for too long

I just quickly focused on finishing my food. It was delicious.

After finishing my food. I announce for dancers to entertain us basically men
Because I don't find their dance entertaining at all

I was just sitting on my throne and  drinking my wine as I have low tolerance of alcohol I drink only a little

Finally the dance was over and then each king presented his gift as I kept
Appreciating one by one . At the end, they will be going to peasants of my kingdom.

He walked towards the centre and gestured his guards to remove the cloth from the baskets

After the removal of the cloth , I saw that it was gold .almost every king gifted me that

I gestured my guards to take the baskets

I thought this was it but suddenly he said

" In occasion of queen's birthday . I want to offer the queen an alliance as i want to retain peace between both kingdoms
So, I ask my queen, may I have the permission to ask you of it for the betterment of both of our kingdom "

I asked him to continue but his next words made my blood boil

"So , my queen will you give me the pleasure of being your husband
I want to ask you to marry me and end the years old rivalry. "
