I decided that, since today was Senior Skip Day, I would sleep in super late and then go to the mall with my friends.
I came down the stairs at 12:34 pm to find my parents crying in the living room, a police officer calmly explaining the school shooting to them, and overhearing that my younger brother had been one of the casualties.
