Regeneration:
Wendigo can heal and regenerate instantly from any wound that is not caused by fire or by a magical weapon. In comics, Wendigos can regenerate from being disemboweled, have their heart ripped out of their chest, and recover from most injuries within minutes. Wendigos are almost indestructible except to fire. If their bodies are killed, their icy heart will eventually regrow a new body. Wendigo are able to recover rapidly from the vast majority of injuries within a few minutes. Short of decapitation or immolation, they are able to fully heal from any wound inflicted upon them, and can even regrow lost limbs and organs, though such injuries obviously take longer to heal.
Empathy:
Wendigos detect feelings of love in humans, which often draws them to devour these people. They also have enhanced senses of sight, smell, and hearing, which are comparable to those of many predatory animals.
