Evangeline's pov:

I WAID PATIENTLY WHEN hook walks over and starts tickling my chin with his hook "Coochy coochy coo." He laughed "How's it feel to be the adviser now, eh?" Harry asked.

"Give it a rest, Harry," Marina said as she approached Harry and I, "Give it a rest.
We don't want damage goods."

"You and Uma said, I can hook her," Harry said as he pointed his hook at me. "Try it , one hand." I smirk at Harry "We said at noon," Marina told Harry.

He came up to me and held his pocket watch, "20 more minutes." I glanced at the pocket watch, "That says 11:30, you can't tell time either?" I raise a brow. Harry scoffed then went to stand next to Marina, who was sitting in front of me, splat out on the floor

"Are you alright? You seem a little... cookoo. And that's putting it nicely." I roll my head to the side and look at her up and down.

"Your bold, you know that?" Marina stands up off the ground "I've been told so, yes." I wag my brows unamused. "I highly dislike you." Marina stood up and looked dead in my eyes "Aw." I pouts before pressing my lips together "The feelings mutual, cakepop."

Marina laughs and walks away turning around and placing both hands on her hips "So let's trash talk Jay." She smirks at me

I look at her up and down , furrowing my brows. "Why do you wanna talk about my boyfriend?" I tilt my head slightly "Because he used to be mines!" Marina hits the spot next to me and I side eye her hand "I can see why he left..."

Marina scoffed "I just don't understand the downgrade, went from this—" she gesture to herself "To some stuck up advisor." She finished and I actually started snickering in laughter "I'm sorry — it's just — you sound super jealous and it's hilarious!" I would've rolled over in laughter if it wasn't for the ropes holding me back

Marina glares at me "I really hope I get to feed you to the fishes." She scowled "I wanna see you try." I lean forward

Jay's pov:

THE NEXT DAY, I drove the limo back to the isle, where Mal and Evie were waiting for us but this time we brought a few extra guest

"I'll get the swords," I told Holden as he helped Gia and McKenna out of the car. "Okay, I'll grab my bow and quiver" Kenna said before walking over to Evie, hugging her.

"Oh, Kenna!" Mal sighed with relief. "I made them bring me," Lonnie told Mal. "Oh, I'm so glad," Mal said. "She blackmailed us, and Holden gave Gia love eyes." I cross my arms "He did not give me love eyes! I simply wanted him to tag along." Gia retorted

"Hi," Evie whispered as she and Holden hugged each other, "Welcome to the Isle. It's good to see you."

"Thanks," McKenna said before Mal walked over to them and greeted them with hugs. McKenna and I walked around to the trunk and opened to see dude huddled up with the swords and Beignet with her bow

"And Dude, and Beignet." I said as I grabbed the swords. "I told you to stay," Carlos reminded Dude. "And I told you to stay!" I scold Beinget "Eva's gonna kill me, then you." I tell the dog

"I flunked obedience class," Dude informed "And what's your excuse?" I raise a brow at Beinget "I just wanted to come." She says back and I close my eyes with a groan
