"ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE BOOK?" Rita Loud asked, looking at the plain yellow cover standing right in front of the three of them. Lily on her arms, and Lynn standing by her side, carrying a bunch of bags from the grocery store.

"I guess," the eldest daughter replied, approaching to the shelf and grabbing it. She took a look at it, her eyes scanning it and stopping on the picture printed on the top right side of it. An old photograph of some dude's pants and shoes, contrasting the ridiculous color the rest of the cover was printed in. "It has the name there."

"I don't think they ever made your sisters' read this one," her mother said, taking it from Lynn's hands to take a closer look. She passed the pages like she could read them that fast, and then gave it back to her daughter.

"Which is why we're buying it," Lynn reminded her, like it's obvious. "Ms. Tyte said it leaves a deep message for this upcoming phase or something along those lines."

"That's great, honey," the blonde woman smiled. "I do hope you read To Kill A Mockingbird someday."

While her mother paid for the book, Lynn gave it a closer look. She hoped there were sports in it.

...

There weren't.

Lynn was already bored out of her mind after the first two lines, she couldn't bring herself to pay more attention. She pretended to keep up with the reading, but she didn't really care, she just picked some random lines up while she spaced out.

How necessary was this book? Would it change her life? Would it get her a golden medal? Would she learn something?

Truth was, Lynn preferred real gymnastics rather than mental ones. Books were never her strong suit, unless they talked about stuff that could make her comprehend the mechanichs of a different sport better. English was, also, not her favorite subject. Too much thinking to be done, while Lynn needed more action.
