How do I love you

Like gazing up into the heavens
and seeing the moon in all its radiance,
I stare at a miracle
reflecting light from afar
and I sighed because
it aches to stretch out my arms
into the unknown
Unbeknownst to the one
Who could fill the night
With its beauty,
the stars at her feet

How do I love you?
Like a lover lost
in the vastness of your eyes
My soul is yearning,
Ever yearning
For that one slightest
Hint of a smile.
