(Connor's stomach growls while watching something on TV.)
Connor: Ugh, my tummy... When's Amaya coming back? I really need to eat some lunch right now. *gets an idea* How about I just cook something for myself? I mean, how hard can it possibly be? *stands up and walks to the kitchen*
(Later, Amaya comes home and enters the kitchen to find Connor dealing with a flaming salad.)
Connor: *turns to look at Amaya and grins nervously* Oh, hi Amaya! You're back already?
Amaya: *shocked* Fluttering feathers, Connor! What the heck happened?
Connor: *rubs the back of his neck, embarrassed* Um, I was getting hungry waiting for you to come back, and then... *gestures towards the burning salad*
(Amaya pinches her eyebrows together and sighs.)
