(Three weeks later)
(Upstate New York)
Third person perspective
The surviving Avengers are now back at the Avengers Compound.
Captain Marvel is out in space looking for Tony and his team.
Everyone within the Compound feels a rumbling and immediately rushes outside.
They see Davners bringing a ship down and land it in the field.
After that they see Tony step out with Nebula.
Steve rushes over to help him.
Tony: I couldn't stop him.
Steve: Neither could I.
Stark stops with tears in his eyes.
Tony: Hang on. I lost my kid.
Steve: We lost, Tony. I'm so sorry.
Tony: Vanessa, is she...?
Just then Vanessa runs over and hugs Tony.
Cap walks away and Tony talks with his wife.
The other's see her break down and cry.
Peter: Steve...
Steve: The kid's gone.
Pete nods.
He knew Y/N was gone, he just wasn't ready to believe it.
(Thirty minutes later)
Everyone has gathered inside to go over what happened.
Rhodey: It's been twenty-one days since Thanos came to Earth.
They all see images of the friends and family they lost.
Natasha: World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working... are trying to take a census and it looks like he did... he did exactly what he said he was gonna do.
Tony looks down as images of Y/N and Jaime appear infront of him.
Natasha: Thanos wiped out... fifty percent of all living creatures.
Stark sighs.
Tony: So, where is he now? Where?
Steve: We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through.
Tony looks over to see Thor.
Tony: What's up with him?
Rocket: Oh, he's pissed. He thinks he failed. Which of course he did, but there's alot of that going around, ain't there?
Tony: Honestly, until this exactly moment I thought you were Build-A-Bear.
Rocket: Maybe I am.
Peter: We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep space scans, satellites and we've got nothing.
Steve: Tony, you fought him?
Tony: I didn't fight him. He wiped my face with a planet while the Bleeker Street magician gave away the stone. There was no fight.
Steve: Did he give you any clues? Any coordinates?
Tony makes a noise, causing all of them to shake their heads in frustration.
Tony: You know? I saw this coming a few years ago. I had a vision I didn't want to believe it, I thought I was dreaming.
Steve: Tony, I need you to focus...
He looks at Rogers.
Tony: And I needed you, as in past tense that trumps what you need. It's too late buddy.
Tony goes on to stand up and gets frustrated then goes on about how we needed a suit of armur around the world.
Steve: Well that didn't work out did it?
Tony: I said "We'd lose" and you said "We'll do that together too." Well guess what Cap? We lost and you weren't there.
As carries on his rant he walks over to Steve before looking to Carol.
Tony: You know what? We need you, your new blood. These guys are a bunch of tired old mill's. I've got nothing for you, Cap, I've got no clues, no nothing you liar.
Tony takes his chest piece off amd puts it in Cap's hand.
Tony: Alright buddy, you take that, you put that on okay? You hear me?
Stark then falls to the floor.
Steve: Tony?
Tony: I'm fine. I'm fine.
He then collapses and passes out.
(Fifteen minutes later)
After Tony collapses, Rhodey and Bruce takes him to the med bay.
Once he's stable, Rhodes leaves him with Vanessa and Morgan.
He outside to see Cap, Pete and Natasha who are outside the med bay.
Peter: How is he?
Rhodey: Bruce gave him something and he should be out for the rest of the day.
Carol: Okay, you guys take care of him and I'll bring him something when I come back.
Carol then walks off.
Steve: Where you going?
Carol: To kill Thanos.
Peter: Wait what?
Cap, Peter and Natasha follow her before she stop and turns to them.
Natasha: Look we usually work as a team around, and between you and me morale is a little fragile right now.
Steve: Now we know up there is more your territory, but this is our fight too.
Rhodey: Do you even know where he is?
Carol: I know people who might.
Nebula: You don't have to.
They all look to her.
Nebula: I can tell you where Thanos is.
(A/N: Just so it's clear, I won't be doing a prologue for Endgame as I won't being going over all of it. Also, sorry for the short chapter.)
