A field of beaten soldiers lay in defeat. Their wounds are induced by single massive electrical shock.
"That's him right? That damned contracted wizard!" A commander yelled as a man at the epicentre of the electrical attack looked at him.
"Be glad I didn't kill you all," he responds in a cold voice
"This defeat will kill us all! We will be the laughingstock of the continent!" The commander pleas as the man shrugs
"Blame your Highness for that. I had a quest...that is all," he tells him.
"Bastard! Do you have no heart!" The commander yells.
The man never responded. Instead, he simply vanished.
In the main capital of Seven
"Wizard of Fairy tail. You have completed your quest," the king of the country Seven fills the man.
"I am to go home now?" The wizard asks.
"Yes. Payment is already in route to the guild," the king tells him
"I see," the wizard mutters as he turns to leave
"Be sure to never forget how many lives of our country you saved...it's greatly appreciated," the King bows to the wizard.
"A king should not lower his head to a man like me," the wizard frowns.
"Although you cost a small fortune to contract from Fiore. I believe the lives that were saved were worth it, and I am grateful that many of our soldiers can return to their families," he says.
The wizard just looked at the king and nodded.
Then he left
Location Fairy Tail Guild Hall
"Wow! The conflict in Seven has finally finished. They beat Iceberg pretty handily!" A member of Fairy Tail reads from a newspaper.
"Wait! Does that mean he coming back!" Natsu, a dragon slayer asks. Natsu was a muscular pink-haired man. His dragon slayer magic gives him the ability to slay fire dragons. He is able to consume fire to improve his magical abilities. He had been in Fairy Tail since he was a child
"Yep. 4 years ago he accepted a personal quest to help,"
"Who are you talking about?" Lucy asks. Lucy was a busty blonde woman. She was a celestial spirit wizard. She was able to summon various celestial spirits to help her out.
"Oh, I guess you wouldn't have met him," Natsu mutters
"He is likely one of the strongest wizards in our guild. Second to only Gildarts...but that was 4 years ago," Mira, the guild poster girl. Mira, like Lucy, was a beautiful woman with white hair.
"Wow, as strong as Gildarts!" Lucy stutters
"Yep. He grew up here just like me," Natsu tells her.
"Wow, he must be really good to go fight for another country, what magic does he use?" Lucy asks
"We don't even know, it is a lot like Laxus's magic. It's a magic that uses electricity," Natsu tells her
"Ah, you must be talking about (Y/N)," Erza asks. Erza was one of the strongest wizards in Fairy Tail. The red-haired woman was able to easily switch her armour and weapons to maximize her effectiveness against certain enemies.
"Yes, do you know when he will return?" Natsu asks her. Erza thinks for a moment
"I do not know. He may be here tomorrow, or in a month. It depends on how fast he wishes to return. News has already reached us, so it likely won't be much longer," Erza responds as there's a knock on the guildhall
