Like mentioned in the description, we're eight guardians. My name you ask? My name is Contrast. Yes yes, the humble and superior leader of this train wreck! Well, I guess it was kind of a landslide though. Back when our "god" granted me birth, I was the very first out of the group. I remember standing there, watching the other seven become summoned, being handed their weapons which was like a thing of instructions in a different language. They had no clue what a gun was, or what a book was. They just stood there like stupid babies playing around with their weapons. The "god" left them, expecting me to educate them on how to use their special abilities. So I did what I do best, lead. Just from the awesome sounding name we have, I obviously trained them well. Like who gives a group the name "Eight Guardians" if they can't be that guardian?? Probably some buffoon. Anywho, so I trained them like REALLY well, and all of us actually learned something, even somebody super duper intelligent like me. So at first, we all thought that we were just weak mammals with these really sick weapons like a magical staff or super sharp ring knifes, well that's only a part of what gifts we have. Besides the cool weapons, we all actually were given a power of a singular element, which lead to us deciding our names. For example, Riptide had abilities to manipulate water and precipitation, which is why we call her Riptide, because riptides are super dangerous things that happen in the ocean, which is water. Sylvan could use some sort of energy to cause immense growing of plants, so we call him Sylvan (which I think means forest.) Fahrenheit is pretty obvious, he controls fire. Electron uses an abnormal surplus of electrons to generate electricity and stuff, so he's Electron. Starlight is kind of weird. She doesn't really control anything, but I think she can predict things just from looking at the divinity of the universe. Frostbite controls ice and cold temperatures, but she was not given a weapon, but a really big book. We were originally going to call her "Bookworm" but Starlight insisted we don't. There's Phantom that can become a ghost, which can fly, go through walls, and become invisible. Then there's me! The best one! From the name, I can use the power of opposites to confuse any menacing and deranged person out there. Frostbite keeps saying that I'm using Newton's third law and it wasn't actually a power, so I told her to keep spitting nonsense because as a great leader like me, I don't listen to bookworms like her. Anywho, we've been doing the same thing for years. Whenever somebody stepped onto the forest guarded for- um I'm not quite sure why. Like it's just an ordinary forest with... trees.. and grass? Well, I guess it's because we live there, and the "god" doesn't want anyone finding out about this paranormal stuff. Because we're in the freakin human world. We're the only beings to possess such abilities. But that leads to the question, why were we created? Because this entire forest shit could have been avoided if we didn't exist. What was I saying? So we kill people who step upon the forest. Fahrenheit, Electron, or Sylvan usually kill them. They have like, 472 kills. While people like Riptide and I have 263. Frostbite and Starlight don't kill people, for obvious reasons. Then Phantom. Adorable and dangerous Phantom. She's only killed 24, but how she killed them was kind of, beautiful? She would sneak up on them as a ghost, then possess their bodies, and make them commit suicide. Hah, that's the most complex murder method out of this group. Most of the time, we just shoot them, stab them, drown them, or electrocute them. I'm honestly a person who stabs them. I have these real nice sword-rings, and they're leave their body as soon as I throw that sucker. With all of these killing things in the air, my opinion that's obviously shared by the rest of the team that Frostbite and Starlight are ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Why? They just are. All they do is read books and look at the sky. If they weren't here, the better name, the Six Sinners, would be in place instead of the NPC name, The Eight Guardians. Pathetic. But the "god" created them and it's kind of the end of the road here. From what I know, I don't think we can die.. After all the idiotic paranormal investigators attacks, not one of us died. Even though Frostbite is the most vulnerable. And-
