♠AFTER A FEW DAYS♠

T

he morning dawned with a soft glow, signalling the beginning of a day filled with anticipation and excitement. Maya Auntie's voice echoed through the house, informing Zahra and me that Hamza bhai would be picking us up for the wedding shopping. With eager hearts, we set about getting ready, our minds buzzing with the promise of a day spent in laughter and companionship. I wore my favorite blue co-ord set and Zahra wore her pink kurti with white trousers.

" Chalo jldi agaye hon ge wo. " Zahra said to me hastily.

" Haan haan arahi hoon, itni jldi ho rhi hai Hamza bhai se milne ki. " I teased her and nudged her slowly.

As we descended the staircase, the rythmic tap of our footsteps echoing through the hallway, a sight outside caught our attention. A car was parked by the curb, its sleek frame glistening in the morning sunlight. Two figures sat inside, waiting patiently. I recognised Hamza Bhai in the passenger seat.

But it was the man behind the steering wheel who stole my breath away. Kabir sat with an easy confidence, a charming smile gracing his lips as he greeted us warmly. Our eyes clashed, dark brown to caramel brown, and in that fleeting moment, a spark ignited within me, sending a flurry of butterflies dancing in my stomach.

Zahra nudged me playgully, a knowing twinkle in her eyes. " Looks like we're in for an interesting ride. " She whispered, her voice filled with amusement.

My cheeks heated up at Zahra's teasing. Together, we approached the car, the anticipation mounting with each step.

As we approached the car, Zahra greeted Kabir with a warm smile, and in return, his deep voice resonated with a simple yet heartfelt greeting.

"Assalamoalikum Bhabhi. " He greeted with his deep urdu accent. The sound seemed to reverberate through the air, sending a jolt of electricity coursing through my veins. I couldn't tear my gaze away from him as his words hung in the air, his voice carrying an irresistible charm that stirred something deep within me. It was as if his mere presence had the power to captivate me completely, leaving me breathless and undeniably drawn to him.

My heart raced as I settled into the backseat, the proximity to Kabir sending my senses reeling. The air charged with unspoken tension and anticipation, we embarked our journey to the mall to decide our clothes for various events.

♥♣KABIR POV:

As we embarked on our journey to the mall, the car was alive with chatter and laughter. Zahra Bhabhi and Noor sat in the backseat, engaged in animated conversation, while Hamza and I shared a few jokes up front. It was shaping up to be a day filled with camaraderie and fun, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement bubbling within me.

" So, Bhabhi, any particular shops you're interested to visit today? " I asked, glancing at her through the rear view mirror.

" Oh, you know me Kabir. I'm just excited to explore and see what catches my eye! " Bhabhi replied with enthusiasm.

" I can't wait to find the perfect outfit for the wedding. Afterall meri dost ki shaadi hai! " Noor chined in, her voice filled with anticipation.

" Oh, come on, Noor. We all know you have a whole list of outfits planned in your mind. " Bhabhi teased, her eyes dancing with mirth.

" Let's not forget the matching accessories and shoes. " Hamza chimed in with a laugh, earning a playful smack on the arm from Bhabhi.

" But fikar mat karo, I'm sure we all will find something amazing. And don't worry, I'll be there to offer my expert fashion advice. " He grins, now earning a punch from Bhabhi.

I chuckled at their antics, feeling a sense of warnth and belonging was over me.

" Well, you know you can always count on me for a second opinion, cause my opinions are surely better than his. " I remarked with a grin.

As we continued our journey, the conversation flowed effortlessly, each of us sharing stories and memories from our past. We laughed, we teased, and we bonded over our shared experiences, creating a sense of camaraderie that filled the car with warmth.
