Not alot just forever.

" Farewell, Carax. "
Y/n said as she stepped into the portal, the moment she opened her eyes once again she felt dizzy and her vision was a blur but she could tell she was resting in her chamber, the sheets that felt soft and the blanket that was over her that was warm and familiar.

Then she felt a hand on her head softly pat her and she held the hand to stop it, then glanced at who it was, seeing the familiar ruby-eyed man.

For once he seemed exhausted, his eyes seemed soft which surprised her a little and she mumbled, her voice soft and strained

" You're a mess..."
Y/n said and Lucas sighed

" You don't know how stressful you are to deal with.."
Y/n let out a small " hm " sound and then didn't say anything, Lucas could tell she was still exhausted and he spoke

" Welcome back Y/n. "

Lucas explained how It's been a total of 3 months of Y/n in a comatose, but for Y/n it was only a week. She sat there as she processed what Lucas explained, Jeanette and Anastacius are now living in Mieta, and Athy is gonna be officially crowned princess in a few months.

Y/n sighed as she rubbed her eyes and mumbled under her breath
" Ah, I was out for too long... "

Lucas heard her murmur and he paused for a bit and spoke
" Everyone thought you'd die. "

" I would've if it weren't for..."
Y/n paused and then continued

" Whatever... "
Lucas noticed this and he went closer as he flicked her forehead, then he held her cheek to make her face him

" I expected you to come back immediately. "
Lucas said in an annoyed tone, Y/n was surprised at the sudden contact but she reluctantly leaned to his touch and mumbled

" It was something too sweet to leave behind. "

Lucas stayed silent for a while and then let go of her cheek and stood up, heading for the door
" I'll tell Athy you've awoken. "

Y/n wanted to reach out to him, to apologize, but she didn't.
She sat up and groaned, feeling a massive headache hit her.

' Too sweet. ' An excuse, Lucas thought. What could he even say? Three Months. Ninety One days there she laid, unconscious and sleeping, What was it that he felt? Frustration? Anger? Impatientness? If there was a god in that world, only they'd know.

Y/n sat on her bed, holding her head as she thought carefully of the information Lucas just gave her. Then she glanced up at the door where Lucas left and she cursed mumbly to herself.

" Gosh...I took too long. "

When Lucas said the words " Y/n's awake " Athy immediately got off her desk and ran to Y/n's room, Lucas following behind. When Athy opened the door, she saw Y/n standing right infront of her, holding onto a table near for support, still holding her head, When Y/n saw Athy she tried to say something, to speak, but she struggled and stuttered. Then Athy hugged her, Y/n stood still until Athy spoke;

" Welcome back. "

Athy said, her trembling voice that Y/n always heard, the only difference is Athy's voice sounded much more soft that it usually was, and her grip around her was tight, like she was scared that if she let go Y/n will dissapear.

Y/n smiled and hugged back, patting Athy's head.

" I'm back. "

Soon enough the rest heard Y/n's awakening, First it was Claude, Then Lily and Felix, Ijekiel, Michiya, And through letters Jeanette also found out. Y/n swore that it was only a week for her but everytime she looked at everyone she'd feel herself tear up, of the realization of how all of them felt, Apologizing multiple times. Athy would treat her like a glass doll, supporting and assisting her with everywhere she went. If Athy couldn't then Y/n would sit on her office while watching her do her work. Y/n didn't mind, She understood her worry of course, But in the back of her neck she could always feel the distant presence of her favorite person.

He'd been avoiding her the whole time she was recovering, but she'd notice him check up on her a few times, but never really speaking to her. Y/n thought it was weird, but in the same time she was relieved cause what she would say? " Sorry. " She'd imagine his frustrated expression, holding his words in, And then burst out the room. It was midnight, Y/n laid at her bed staring out at her balcony, watching the curtains wave as the breeze went and hit them, Nothing kept her awake in the general, she just couldn't sleep. Then she saw a figure behind the curtains, Y/n had an idea of who it was already and she was right, Lucas tied her curtains and then glanced and her and spoke;

" What are you doing awake? "

" Can't sleep, honest. "
Y/n mumbled as she sat up her bed, tying her hair up.

" You should be, you're recovering. "

" Tell that to my head, not me. "

Y/n and Lucas bickered back and forth, Until both ran out of comebacks and eventually quieted down.  Lucas then sat at the side of her bed and spoke;

" I have a feeling this happened before. "

" What is? "

" You, exhausting yourself, and me watching it happen. "
Lucas glanced at Y/n and she chuckled and smiled

" I think it happened too many times for me to keep count. "

" For sure. "
Lucas smirked and ruffled Y/n's hair and spoke
" I think you haven't thanked me yet. "

Y/n looked at him and she eased up a bit and smiled
" I hate you for reminding me. "
Y/n said as she rested her head on his shoulder

" I deserve it don't i? Well let's see, i disappeard for months to get the world tree branch, you were stuck with work and dealing with the whole chaos, you pass out, i come back, i take care of everything, and then suddenly after dealing with the whole chaos, you pass out again for 3 whole months and when you wake up i don't receive a single Thank you, pretty unfair. "
Lucas said giving a recap of everything and Y/n chuckled

" Wow you're good at turning the tables huh? "

" I'm asking for a Thank you, i'm not turning the tables. "
Lucas chuckled a bit and they were quiet for awhile and then Y/n mumbled as she closed her eyes

" Thank you, My dear magician. "
