Y/n stared at the letter and sighed
" I have been avoiding invitations for weeks but...I feel bad. "
Y/n had to prepare for Athy's coronation, she was still designing her custom-made dress and overthinking the whole ' Guest of Honor ' thing. Athy claimed Y/n should be one of the guests of honor, Y/n tried to refuse multiple times but in the end, she still got the role. Athy thought it was the perfect opportunity to formally appear to the sight of the other nobles as the head of the noble family L/n.
It shouldn't be hard right? It wouldn't if it wasn't for Y/n's nervousness.
" So? Are you gonna accept the invite? "
Lucas appeared behind her, He had done that too many times already for Y/n to be not used to it
" I think I can't...I mean...I'll see everyone either way at the coronation, right? "
" Guess so. "
Lucas said while tying half of Y/n's hair up and she turned and spoke
" Carax is gone, But still sabotages are still possible so we need to be- "
" I get it Y/n, You're paranoid, Nothings gonna happen. "
Lucas disrupted Y/n and she sighed putting aside the pile of letters sent to her, looked at her hair in the mirror, and spoke
" Hey Lucas, what's gonna happen now? "
Lucas raised a brow as he was confused about what she was referring to and she continued
" Athy's gonna be crowned princess, Obelia's in safe hands. What are we gonna do? "
What are we gonna do?
Y/n said as the breeze hit her hair she turned to him smiling
Lucas smiled as the breeze hit his hair
" It's simple, If you want it, I will do it. If it makes you happy, I will go anywhere with you. "
And the day of Athy's coronation came, Even after the highs and lows, Y/n stood beside the Obelias.
The Emperor that saved her, the same emperor that she saved. And the Princess, that cured her loneliness, the same Princess that she considered her sister.
The same family she swore to protect, for the rest of her long life.
And the magician she thought was the answer to save her savior, The same magician that will always be right by her side, The same magician that saved her.
" Come on Lucas, The coronation is about to start. "
Y/n said as she held his hand tightly, going through the multiple seats of noble families and going to their reserved seats.
