Emma came out of Drake's room carrying the tray with her. As Lisa saw her she ran back to the kitchen and Emma followed her inside
"You thought he'd beat me, right?" Emma asked setting the tray on the table
"What are you talking about?" Lisa asked playing dumb
"That's why you were peeking, right? You thought he'd beat me or yell at me?"
"That because you did not open his window "
"Of course I did," Emma said, taking a sip of water
"You saw his face and he didn't shout at you I mean you saw him"
"Yes, I did. I was expecting him to hit me, but he didn't, so I guess he's back You can go into his room and open the windows, too"
"Are you sure? Right now? You're not lying?"
"I'm not here Did you see any bruises on my body? So you can go ahead too"
"That's true" Lisa said sounding reluctant to believe her.
"You can go now, or you can do that later at night" Emma said, shooing her away.
"I will but that doesn't mean we're friends" Lisa said walking out of the kitchen and giving Emma one last suspicious glance before leaving
"Wait Did you actually see his face?" Betty asked
"No I didn't" Emma said chopping the vegetables
"Then why did you tell her to do that?" Mary asked joining the conversation
"I'm just returning the favor So tonight will be sweet don't you think?" Emma said winking at Mary

"I was really happy when Emma told me you wanted to see me" Mike said
"But won't Naomi come to visit me too?" Drake asked playing with a lighter The room was pitch-black and the only light was from the flickering flame
"Of course she will She'll come" Mike Said
"She won't even return my calls or texts"
"Don't worry I'll talk to her about it, but don't you think you should at least turn on the light? It's really dark in here,"
"That's what I called you here for leave my room" Drake said still playing with the lighter
"The company needs you"
Drake didn't respond he just kept playing with the lighter Mike sighed and walked out of the room

"I can't believe that stupid Lucy stood up to us all day," Deji said
"I knew it She couldn't fight that idiot," Daniel said, nodding in agreemen
"She will pass here I'm sure of it" Ife said
Lucy was walking back home from her shop sighing as she saw Daniel and his friends She turned around and started running
"There she is!" Daniel yelled, and they started running after her
"Mo ku oooooo {"I'm dead, oooo}" Lucy screamed as she kept running She ran into Emma's house and rushed inside, panting
"Lucy, are you okay?" Lura asked
"I'm fine... I'm... fine" Lucy said, trying to catch her breath.
Suddenly they heard banging on the door It was Daniel and his friends
"What's going on? Are you guys fighting again?" Lura yelled
"You know I can't fight Daniel and his friends when Emma's not around They'll just choose to beat me up instead"
"Really?" Lura said peeking through the window She saw Daniel and his friends"There are only three of them." She turned to face Lucy
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Lucy asked, her eyes gleaming with mischief
Lura winked at her and they snuck out the back door each carrying a pepper shaker and a cane filled with water They sneaked up behind Daniel and his friends.
"Hey, look over here!" Lura yelled and Daniel and his friends turned around
Without hesitation Lura and Lucy dumped the pepper shakers on Daniel and his friends and started spraying them with water Then they started beating them with the canes
"Arghhh It hurts" Daniel yelled covering his eyes.
"Stop please I'm not with them" Ife said, cowering behind a tree.
But Lura and Lucy kept beating Daniel and his friends "Just because Emma's not around doesn't mean you can bully us Crazy blood runs through me too!" Lura yelled

Lisa adjusted her dress and knocked on Drake's door There was no reply so she tried the handle It was unlocked She stepped inside but the room was dark
"I know you're in here Drake. Can we just play a little game?" she said but there was no reply
"Stop being like this!" she said She reached for the light switch but before she could turn it on Drake appeared in front of her and he switched off the light
"Aaaah!" Lisa screamed
"You're not a new maid, and I think you know the rules," he yelled his voice echoing through the dark room
"I'm sorry" Lisa cried as she rushed to the door but it was locked
"I'm sorry but you're not going anywhere" Drake yelled and she heard the cane swinging through the air
"What are you doing?" she yelled because it was dark and she couldn't see what was coming.
But the only answer she got was the cane crashing against her back She screamed..............
