Matagal siyang tumitig sa bawat art na nadadaanan namin at sa bawat hinto niya, imbes sa art ako tumitig ay inaagaw ng atensyon ko ang presensya niya.
Nagugustuhan ko na yata.
Gusto in a way of giving my Wednesdays to him. Maybe he just wants to have a quick escape from his exhausted life which I'll not hesitate to give it to him.
He was unlocking his cellphone, maybe he'll take a photo of the hanging art in front of us but before it went to the camera, I noticed his lock screen wallpaper where it says 'FIX', mabilis niya kong nilingon sa likod niya at ang mata ay parang nagtatanong kung may nakita ba ko na hindi ko dapat makita.
"Why?" tanong ko while smiling. Patay malisya kahit wala naman talaga kong alam why he was reacting like that.
Dahil ba sa lock screen wallpaper niya?
"W-wala. Gutom ka na?"
Iling ko, "Don't tell me you are?"
"Mabilis ako magutom though mabilis din naman ako mabusog so bear with me." he said while his attention was on his phone, tinitingnan ang mga shots niya sa mga art.
Naalala kong hindi pa kami kumukuha ng picture na kaming dalawa lang, so before I asked him to take one with me I secretly took a photo of him while he was taking a photo of the art in front of him again. I'll just send it to him later.
"Can we take a picture?" I asked at tinabihan siya.
"Wow! The famous dance leader and the war freak lord back in high school just wants to take a photo with me?" he laughed.
"Shut up. I'm not famous, you guys just making me one." I whined.
"Alright, Mr. Wix. Let's take a picture then." natatawa niya pa ring sabi.
Kapag yang teardrop dimples niya hindi mag-appear sa picture na 'to ah.
He was wearing a lose white t-shirt again together with his jogger pants, so simple yet he made it like he was an endorser one.
And so, we took it. Anong saya ko na lang when his dimples shown in the picture kahit hindi ko i-zoom in.
Our height can differentiate through this photo, I'm one inch taller than him I think. I'm 6'1 feet tall and I guess, he's 6 feet tall though he's one year older than me.
Isang taon lang ang tanda niya sakin pero parang ang dami niya ng na-experience when it comes to hardships in life.
Nasa Cafe na kami ngayon, nagpapahinga, while he was eating his mocha slice cake and I'm just drinking my go-to flavor in frappe.
"Where you going after this?" I asked.
"Baka sa Restobar na lang ako palipas ng oras since may gig din kami mamaya." another striving day na naman pala meron siya today.
