When I woke up the next morning I walked out to the main part of our hut.
"Morning k" said Tisreya
"Morning" I said yawing
"How 'd you feel" asked my father
"Good" i said smiling
"Your stomach?" said my mother
"A bit sore but otherwise good, did you see too the mother and calf that were targeted yesterday" I asked
"Yes we did, she is still a bit shaken so will be stay for a bit until she feels better to go back to her pod" said my mother preparing some food
"Okay that's good, T what are you doing today?" I said sitting down
"I am helping with the sullys with their bonding"
"Oh okay can I come?"
"Su-" she said being cut off
"No you will be resting or helping your mother"
"What really"
"Yes you need to heal"
"I am fine"
"Yeah totally you just magically healed over night from a gunshot wound" said Aonung as I smacked him around the back of his head
"You're brother has a point" said father putting food in his mouth
"Yeah I do" he said sassing me
"Shut up" I said glaring at him while standing up
"Where are you going" said father
"I forgot to thank Neteyam yesterday he helped me" I said walking past Aonung
"I think she likes him" he said laughing
"Shut up, I do not" I said smacking him really hard on his head
"Ow that hurt" he said rubbing the back of his head
"Better" I said walking out
"Man shes strong" he said going back to eating
Neteyam POV
I was eating when I saw Kia'ra making her way to what looked like our hut but she could have just been walking past. I went back to eating when she walked through the front entrance of our hut. I looked up to see her smiling at me.
"Hi Kia'ra" I said as the rest of my family turned to her
"Hi" she said with smile
"Hows your stomach" asked mother
"Oh its much better thank you again" she said smiling sweetly at mother
"Its not a problem"
"I realized this morning I forgot to thank you neteyam" she said smiling at me
"Oh no problem you weren't that heavy" I said feeling a blush come along my face
"But still thank you" she said with that smile that made my knees go weak
"This might be a bit rude, but how come your forest and here living with water" said my dad smirking at me
"Oh I don't really know I was found as a baby by the chief and him and his wife adopted me" she said shrugging her shoulders
I felt bad that she was from what it sounded like abandoned.
"Oh i'm so sorry" said dad looking guilty
"Oh don't worry about it i don't really care I have an amazing family here" she said smiling
"You seem like a strong warrior" said mother
"Oh thank you" she said sounding a bit shocked
"I mean like you got shot and just walked it off" said mother
"Oh yeah i have been shot too many times Im used to it" she said laughing
"I Love your hair" said Tuk smiling at her

"I'm Tuk"
"Lovely to meet you Tuk"
"I'm Kiri" said Kiri
"Nice to meet you" she said smiling at kiri
"I'm Lo'ak" he said simile I don't know why I felt jealous by this but I did
"Lovely to meet you guys" she said smiling at them then to me "Anyways I better go I have to help my mother with the new calf and mother tukun" she said waving bye to us
"Bye Kia'ra" said Tuk smiling
"Bye" she said turning away
"She seems like a lovely girl" said Kiri looking at me
"Why are you looking at me" I said questioning her
"Nothing" she said smirking to mum and Lo'ak
"What" I said confused
"We saw they way you looked at her" said Lo'ak as I blushed hard
"You like her don't you Neteyam" said dad smirking
"What can you blame me shes stunning" I said regretting what i just said
"Is Kia'ra and Neteyam getting married" said Tuk completely randomly making me blush so hard and cough on my food
We all looked at her and she just looked confused.
"No tuk they are not getting married, yet" said Kiri smirking at me
"Yet!!!!" she said excitedly
"No tuk no we are not getting married we barely know each other" I said to her
"I think they would make a cute couple" said tuk laughing
"Okay bye" I said walking out
"Good job tuk" I heard Kiri say to tuk
I walked out the hut to see Kia'ra playing with the calf in the water.
