Nova's POV
I hated Julian so much. He always came into my life just to mess it up.
Pretended to care about me but he just wanted to use me, like he always did.
I walked around for hours until I went back to Lando's place again.
He was already getting ready for our dinner and I pretended as if nothing happened.
"You okay baby?" He asked. I nodded. "Just went to see Julian"
"Oh really?" He raised his eyebrow. "I wanted to go with you"
My heart broke. He really thought Julian was his friend.
"Oh well, he's probably leaving anyways"
He tilted his head. "Really? Why?"
"You know how he is. Always chasing money" I waved it away as I walked to the kitchen.
Lando followed me, leaning against the counter. "And you're fine with that?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
I tried to walk away again, didn't want him to see that I wasn't fine with it at all.
But he grabbed my arm and pulled me against his body.
"Because he's your brother, because you love him"
"The only person I love is you" I said, but he knew it was a lie. He was right - I love Julian too even though I hated him.
"I love you too baby" he smiled. "But why is he leaving?"
I groaned, why can't he just drop this?
"Because he doesn't belong here" I said before pecking his lips. "Gonna do the laundry real quick"
And he knew what that meant. I needed to be alone. Cancel the noise around me, just cancel everything.

I cried and cried and after a while Lando came to join me.
Sat down next to me on the floor, held me in his arms.
I was done crying now. Julian didn't deserve my tears anyways.
Lando wanted to cancel the dinner, but I didn't want that. We never canceled dinner without a good reason.
We both sat down next to each other. Our usual place. Max, Kelly and Tom also joined but two seats stayed empty.
"Aren't Julian and Piper coming today?" Max asked.
"Probably not, Julian definitely not" I shrugged.
"Oh" he said as he looked at me. "Too bad"
But Piper did join our dinner. She walked in the restaurant, alone.
She smiled a little and sat down next to me. She heard our entire conversation, heard everything I said to Julian.
And I could tell she was heartbroken.
She really fell hard for my brother. Put up with his idiotic shit just to be with him.
Unfortunately that was the power he had. It was impossible not to like him.
"We're over" Piper whispered. "I dumped him"
I nodded. "How are you feeling?"
She shrugged. "Did he really want to steal from..-" she nodded at Lando.
"Yes, they were planning this for years" and they never did something without Julian's blessing - so he was probably the one who has been planning this all along.
"Does he know?" Piper asked, once again nodding at Lando. I shook my head. "But I will be telling him tonight"
Piper nodded, taking a sip from her wine.
"Did he leave?" I asked.
"Don't know" she shrugged. "I think he will"
"Good"
