what colour is your favourite song?
if you asked me, I'd say as brown as your hair,
golden in the sun, lustrous, i wish blood flowed as easily through me as your hair blow in the wind,
i wouldn't mind being suffocated if i ever lost myself in you,
it'd still be less laboured breathing than I'm used to,
or maybe as black as your eyes,
i have them too, but I'm scared of looking in the mirror,
mine seem cold, listless, like I'm trapped in a dungeon fifty feet beneath the earth,
like I'm rotten, the ashes from my soul sculpted to form my eyes,
my world always lacks colour, its just grey,
grey like my fingers, icy like my veins, but you're so warm,
never decaying, never the parasite, never just me,
always only you.
