I ONLY CAME UP WITH A FEW OF THESE HEADCANONS! MOST ARE SOURCED FROM AROUND THE WIKI OR AMINO, AND VARIOUS PLACES.

══════════════════════════════
NIGHTWINGS

- Have small velvety patches on their paws that absorb sound, allowing them to be completely silent when they walk

- Their scales are purple-black when hatched, and over time change hue to match the place they grew up in

- Eyes reflect like cats in the darkness

- Smallest tribe

- Fire has a purple-black hue to it

- Stars on their wings indicate age: they grow as the dragon ages and more stars shows an older dragon. (In this AU Darkstalker’s wings were so starred that it looked like he had black flecks amongst silver, but no-one raised an eye because his sister Whiteout’s wings were naturally like that)

══════════════════════════════
SEAWINGS

- Teeth are constantly renewed like sharks until something prevents it

- Use their tail mostly for swimming: most powerful out of all tribes

- All SeaWings have glowing scale patterns, but only royals have swirls. They usually come depending on family and heritage

- Blood appears purple in the circulation near flash scales: a mix between red blood and blue bioluminescent fluid

- SeaWings don't have to sleep, they can rest while swimming.

══════════════════════════════
RAINWINGS

- RainWings are cold blooded and have to warm up in the sun every day

- They shed skin like snakes usually once every few years

- Some RainWings have two thumbs that help with climbing (but hinder writing). This is usually genetic

- RainWing venom is stored in an immunised organ that keeps it in a natural state, located just above the roof of the mouth

- They can locate themselves and the surroundings using only their tongue and 'tasting the air', like snakes

- Frills can flare at will or when feeling certain emotions. They can vary between feathers, spikes, rounded, palm shaped, really any design for frills (again, a genetic feature)

══════════════════════════════
SKYWINGS

- Horns can vary in bloodlines, but the standard ones are layered like ibexes

- Large wings are rectangular in shape to help with lift

- Tail usually stands on point, relatively straight and heavy (as a counterbalance)

- SkyWing courtship traditions are similar to that of bald eagles: the couples lock talons and freefall through the air. This is usually done in the middle of a SkyWing Wedding Ceremony.
