I went to aash's room and i heard her talking to someone
"Idk what to do" she said on the phone
And after a slight pause
"I dont want to hurt anyone" said aash
I knocked on her door and she hurriedly cut the call
"What happened?" I said sitting beside her
"Nothing just kiara" (her bestf) said aash
"Okayy, btw do you have ny inspo for your outfits?" I ask her curious
"No nothing at all" she says
"Then open insta or pintrest and start searching, we dont have much time" i tell her pushing her laptop towards her.
We both looked at inspo's for about an hour and then i left.
*skip 10 days (the shopping has been done, cards have been printed, other minor rituals have been done, sid and aashna talk almost everyday and she seems happy, i have came closer to abhi and anu etc etc)
Morning time (15 days before wedding)
Today sid's family is coming to our place for lunch so its just chaos. I woke up and went down around 11 (it was the weekend)
"Finally you are up?" Asks mom annoyed
"Its the weekend mom please chill" i say taking a bottle of water
"Now help me cook" she says
"I just woke up" i say in a gloomy voice
"Who told you to SLEEP TILL 11?" Ask mom
"Fine fine" i reply because i knew i had no option
I helped her in the kitchen for a while when aash came down wearing suit
"Ohhhh, someone dressed up for someone" i say teasing
"Shut up" says aash
She looked pretty but just very nervous, idk she always seemed secretive these days.
I also go up , freshen up and wear my casual clothes and go down around 1:00 and thats when sid's family was supposed to come.
"Avu couldn't you have worn a suit?" Asks mom
"Its my wedding not hers and its not like sid is gonna wear traditional or smth" says aash before i can reply
"Thank you" i mouth to aash
Our mom rolls her eyes and i chuckle a bit
Then the door bell rang and dad opened the door
"Come in come in" he said with a smile
Abhi, sid and their mom smiled and came in
"How are you all?" Asks mom with a smile.
"We are good aunty" says sid
"Aunty? start saying mummy now' says our mom
And everybody laughs looking at sid
We all started talking but i got a call from my boss so i went outside to talk, after talking to her for about 10 mins I was going in when sid also came out.
"Hey you meed smth?" I ask
"Oh no, i just came to get my phone from the car" he replies
"Oh ok"
And as I was going in
"Hey listen" he says
"Yea?" I wait and turn around
"Can I ask you something about aashna?" He asks hesitating
"Does she....is she seeing someone secretly?" He asks
"Not that i know off but why are you asking?" I ask confused
"Nothing" he replies looking down
"She is anyways talking to you half the time so how can u even think she is seeing someone secretly?" I ask again
"Talking to me? We haven't talked in a week" he said confused
"What?" I ask confused as well
As he was replying abhi came and called us for lunch inside and we left the conversation in between.
We all had lunch and had a good time but what sid said was still stuck in my mind but i tried to ignore it.
"Okay we'll take a leave" said sid's mom
"So soon?" Asks dad
"Yes sir, we have some work but thank you sm for inviting us" said abhi
Then we bid goodbye to them amd aash went to her room and i followed her.
"Hey aash" i said going behind her
"Oh hey, what happened?" She asked startled
"Did u talk to sid in the last few days?" I ask as normally as i can
"Yea everyday, why?" She asks suspiciously
"Nothing just mom wanted to know anyways you carry on" and i leave the room
Something is up, i thought to myself but tried to distract myself from it.
It was almost 2 am now and i was doing some office work so that there wont be much work piled up on my leave.
I was done and i knew aash never slept early so i thought to go and talk to her to see if she was okay regarding this whole marriage situation.
I went to her room.....
