Prerna groaned as she woke up to find Nayan once again sprawled on Rishav's chest in bed. She shook her head, knowing that she would have to take charge to rouse her late risers from their peaceful slumber.

"Rishav Ji! Nayan! Wake up, sleepyheads! It's time to start the day!"
Prerna's voice echoed through the house as she called out to her sleepyheads. She waited for a response, knowing that it would take a few attempts to finally get them out of bed.

After several more futile attempts, Prerna sighed and decided to take matters into her own hands. She got up and started getting ready for the day ahead. The kitchen beckoned her, and she knew she had to start preparing breakfast to kickstart their morning.

As she chopped vegetables and put on the kettle for tea, Prerna couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of her stubborn duo still cocooned in their world of dreams, snuggled next to each other.

"Rishav Ji, Nayan, you two better wake up before the whole day passes you by!"
She muttered under her breath, a hint of exasperation tingeing her voice.

Just as she was about to start cooking, she heard the shuffling of feet. Rishav stumbled into the dinning room, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"Good morning, Ji. What's for breakfast?"
He mumbled, his hair tousled from sleep.

Prerna couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, a mix of fondness and irritation bubbling within her.

"Good morning, to you too Ji. I'm making pancakes. Aur aapke papa ke pari kidhar hai Ji?"
She teased, nudging him playfully and continued cooking, the sound of their morning routine filling the air with a sense of familiarity and warmth.

As soon as the words left Prerna's mouth, Nayan also stumbled into the dinning room, her hair mussed, eyes tired and stood beside Rishav.

"Mumma, papa, I awake! Why not you woke me earlier? Now I going to late for school. Anyways, mumma what's for breakfast?"
She yawned, already scanning the table for her favorite meal.

On hearing Nayan, Prerna looked up. Her eyes narrowing playfully as she shot a mock glare in Rishav's direction, who squirmed under her gaze.

Prerna couldn't help but feel a hint of amusement at his fearful reaction. Rishav turned to glare at Nayan, hoping to deflect some of the attention and perhaps share the blame for their delayed wake-up call.

However, Nayan's confusion at her father's sudden intensity only added to the comical tension in the room.

Turning her attention to Nayan, Prerna couldn't help but admire the innocence and mischief in her daughter's eyes, a reflection of her once very own spirited nature.

"Nayan, sweetheart, do you see what your mischievous papa Ji is up to this morning?"
Prerna whispered conspiratorially, a playful twinkle in her eyes as she encouraged Nayan, who looked equal parts amused and perplexed by the exchange happening between her parents before her. Both of their face liting up with a mischievous grin as Nayan nodded enthusiastically.

"Papa fear of mummy... funny face..."
Nayan, always quick to lighten the mood with her sassy comments, mustered up a response, albeit a bit jumbled and slurry from the sleepiness.

Her words a mix of amusement and confusion, were delivered with a sincerity that only Prerna and Rishav could fully comprehend, their shared understanding bringing a smile to their faces.

Prerna couldn't help but chuckle at Nayan's attempt at humor, the innocence and lightheartedness of the moment washing away any lingering tension. Rishav, on the other hand, looked overly exasperated and hurt at being the target of their playful banter, a sense of betrayal flickering in his eyes as he gazed at Prerna.

"Are Rishav Ji, it's all in good fun Ji,"
Prerna reassured him, reaching out to touch his arm gently.

"Nayan has her own way of bringing laughter into our lives, even if it means teasing her dear old great grand papa Ji."
Her words were laced with affection and understanding, a silent message of camaraderie and shared joy that bound them together as a family.

Rishav aka the unwitting target of their teasing, tried to maintain a stern expression but couldn't suppress a hint of laughter at Nayan's adorable attempts at articulating her thoughts Prerna's teasing. Prerna, noticing his struggle, joined in the playful banter once again with a mischievous glint in her eye.

"It seems Nayan has unlocked the secret recipe to make her papa Ji chuckle before breakfast,"
Prerna teased, nudging Rishav gently as she shared the joyful camaraderie of their morning routine.

Nayan, catching on to the lighthearted exchange, giggled uncontrollably and added another playful comment, her words a delightful mix of innocence and humor.

"Papa looking like a funny,"
she exclaimed, her eyes alight with glee at the amusing interaction between her parents.

Prerna couldn't contain her laughter at Nayan's endearing words, the pure joy and affection in the air warming her heart. Rishav, now fully embracing the shared moment of light-hearted teasing, playfully scolded Nayan with a mock stern expression, which only made her burst into more giggles because Rishav and "scolding Nayan" can never go together afterall.

haan hasi ban gaye
haan nami ban gaye
tum mere aasmaan
meri zameen ban gaye

As the laughter subsided and a sense of warmth and unity settled around them, Prerna exchanged a knowing glance with Rishav, a silent understanding passing between them. In the harmony of their playful banter and shared joy, Prerna couldn't help but feel a surge of love for her little family, the chaos of their morning routine reminding her of the bond they shared. As they sat down to eat breakfast together, Prerna felt grateful for the simple joys that brought them closer as a family, even if it meant enduring a few extra minutes of sleepiness in the morning.

And on a note of gentle laughter and familial affection, the morning banter fades into the background, leaving behind a sense of unity and love that transcended any momentary squabble or hurt feelings. In the embrace of their shared laughter, Prerna, Rishav, and Nayan found solace in the knowledge that their bond, forged through a myriad of emotions and experiences, was unbreakable and enduring.
