Kiara's eyes fluttered open and she found herself in the middle of a dark forest. The air was thick and heavy, making it difficult for her to breathe. The trees seemed to loom over her, their branches reaching out to grab her. She could hear the faint sound of her parents' voices in the distance, calling out to her.

She stumbled through the forest, trying to find her way back to her parents. She couldn't remember how she got there or why she was alone. As she walked, she could feel the ground beneath her feet getting softer and stickier. She looked down and saw that she was walking on a bed of leaves, but they weren't just leaves. They were red and sticky, and as she lifted her foot, she could see that they were coated in blood.

Panicked, she started running, her heart racing in her chest. She could feel the cold sweat forming on her skin as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She remembered her parents' words, "Baby, don't close your eyes." But she couldn't keep them open any longer.

As she closed her eyes, she heard a soft voice in her ear. It was her mother's voice, but it sounded different. It was eerie and cold. "Baby, don't close your eyes," the voice echoed in her head.

Kiara's eyes snapped open and she found herself in a room. She was lying on a cold, metal table, and she could feel something warm and wet trickling down her neck. She tried to move, but her voice was stuck in her throat, and her body refused to obey her.

She looked around the room and saw her mother standing in front of her, a smile on her face. But her face was stained with blood, and she was holding a little boy in her hand. Kiara's heart skipped a beat as she realized what was happening.

"Isn't it beautiful?" her mother asked, digging the edge of the knife into the child's chest. Kiara's eyes widened in horror as she watched the blood spill out of the child's body.

She tried to scream, but no words came out of her mouth. Her body was frozen, and she couldn't move or look away.

Suddenly, she heard a blood-curdling scream and a blond woman burst into the room, covered in blood. She was struggling to walk, and her eyes were filled with terror as she looked at the scene in front of her.

A tall man followed her calmly, and Kiara recognized him as her father. The woman leaped towards the child and her mother, but her father held her back harshly.

"My sweet daughter," her mother said, ignoring the woman's cries. "Newborn children are fragile things, so it's easy to kill them. But killing them takes courage."

As her mother continued to speak, Tears streamed down her face as she realized the horror of her situation. She was trapped, and she couldn't escape.e.'

Kiara's heart felt like it was about to burst out of her chest. She wanted to run, to scream, to do anything to stop this madness. But she was frozen in place, unable to move or speak.

The scene in front of her played out like a slow-motion movie. Her mother's hand tightened around the knife, and with one swift motion, she plunged it into the little boy's chest. Kiara could hear the mother's screams, the sound of the knife cutting through flesh and bones. And in that moment, she could feel the weight of the guilt and horror crush her. Her mother's voice faded into the background as Kiara's mind was consumed by guilt, fear, and disgust.

But then, the scene changed. She was no longer a child, The little boy was no longer in her mother's arms, and the blond woman was no longer struggling in the man's grip. In their place was Kiara, her hands covered in blood, her eyes filled with terror. She was the one holding the knife, the one who had killed the little boy. innocent child's blood on her hands.

Kiara woke up in a cold sweat, her heart racing as she tried to catch her breath. She had just woken up from a nightmare that felt too real. She looked around frantically, but all she could see were the four walls of her bedroom. She couldn't shake off the feeling of fear and unease that lingered even after she had opened her eyes. Suddenly, her panic only increased when she realized that she wasn't alone in her bed. Then she felt a tight grip around her, making it difficult for her to move. Panic rose inside her as she tried to break free, but the grip only got stronger.

"Don't move," a deep, raspy voice whispered in her ear. Kiara recognized the voice immediately and stopped struggling. It was her Hanseok, the same man she had been avoiding for weeks now. After that one incident, she couldn't bear to sleep in the same room as him, scared of herself why she thought of killing him, it was hard to face him after that night. She had decided to move to her old room, But she never expected Hanseok to come into her room, let alone hold her like this.

"I tried to wake you up," Hanseok's voice was still gruff, but there was a hint of concern in his tone now. "You were having a nightmare, and you were thrashing around. I didn't want you to hurt yourself." Kiara could feel his breath on her neck as he spoke, and despite herself, she couldn't help but relax a little in his arms.

"And now you finally woke up," Hanseok's grip loosened a bit, but he didn't let go of her. "It must have been a terrible nightmare." Kiara could feel his worry radiating from his touch. She knew he could sense her unease, even in her sleep.

Kiara didn't respond to him, her mind still reeling from the horrifying images that had plagued her sleep. She just wanted to be left alone, to process her emotions and regain control over her racing heart. But Hanseok seemed to sense her need for comfort and security, and he didn't let go of her.

"Let me sleep with you tonight," Hanseok said, breaking the silence. 'I can tell that it must've been a terrible nightmare. I don't want to leave you alone and worry about you.'

Kiara didn't reply, but the man seemed to take her silence as a positive answer. He pressed a gentle kiss to her neck and asked her to smile. She tried to force a smile, but her mind was still troubled by the nightmares.

As they lay there in silence, Kiara couldn't help but remember how they used to sleep like this every night. She could feel the steady rhythm of Hanseok's breathing, and it was strangely comforting. It was like they were back in their own bubble, away from all the problems and arguments that had been tearing them apart. Or her own fear tearing them apart.

She could feel her resistance melting away as Hanseok snuggled into her neck even more, his breath tickling her skin. "I miss this," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I miss you, Kiara."
Kiara hesitated for a moment before she just turned around and buried her head in his chest, tears streaming down her face. Hanseok wrapped his arms around her tighter, his fingers gently stroking her back. Kiara could feel her body relaxing in his embrace, and for a moment, all her fears and worries seemed to fade away.

Without a word, Kiara snuggled more closer to him, feeling his arms wrap around her once again tightly. Hanseok stroked her back gently, his movements soothing. He could feel her body still trembling, and he knew that she needed him now more than ever. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, before whispering, "Go back to sleep.'

As she drifted back to sleep, Hanseok whispered in her ear, "I don't know what happened in your nightmares, but I promise you, Kiara, I'll never let anything harm you. I'll always protect you." she realized that no matter how different they were, Hanseok was the one who had been by her side through it all. He was her rock, and she couldn't imagine her life without him.
