🏹⚡️An Unexpected Timeline 🏹⚡️

Barry groans as he tries to get out of the bed but of course, Thea wasn't about to let him climb out as he needed to rest but Barry didn't deter assuring her that he could do it himself as Thea lets out a reluctant sigh and stepped back as the speedster was able to climb off the bed by himself

Unfortunately, Barry practically fell down to his feet only for Thea to catch him as she told him that he needed help and he finally gave him in allowing her to help him into the cortex as she leads him over to a chair as Barry held his ribs and took a seat

Thea kneeled down to him placing her hands on his knees, staring into his eyes and searched for the answers to her question

Thea: Barry, what's going on? You can talk to me...

Thea went to grab his hand but Barry moves his hand away from her, turning his attention away from her, it's not that he didn't want her to touch him, it was because he was worried of the reaction that he'd receive from her, not only her..his friends as well; she let out a sigh seeing his reaction, clearly something was wrong

Thea: Barry, talk to me, please.

He looks back at Thea and tells her

"Call everyone. Have them come here. What I have to say...it's um...a bit of a mind exploder."

Thea gave him a nod and rose to her feet as she took out her phone and one by one she began to call the team to come to Star Labs telling them each that Barry was awake and had something to tell them, as she did that Barry thought about what happened when he was asleep, he remembered being with the speed force version of his mother

It may have not been her but it felt like her, truly felt like the one who tucked him in at night, that helped to wound up his bruises from being bullied and seeing her it just made him know that he truly did miss his mother

Barry sat in the chair in the cortex with each member of the team standing there looking shocked at what he'd just told them; he explained to them about flashpoint, told them how he changed the timeline and made things different than what they originally were

But the hardest thing was telling them about his mistake and fixing the timeline only to come back to stuff different than how left them and from looking at the team's faces they weren't fully convinced he was telling the truth

"You don't believe me. Of course you don't."

He says shaking his head with a scoff as he rubs his eyebrows in frustration

Thea: It's not that we don't believe you, Barry. It's just...

Thea paused her words trying to figure out the best thing to say or not; while she had no reason to doubt him, it still was a little bit crazy to even think about the timeline being different

Thea: It's just a little far fetched is all.

Barry sighs and nods in agreement, if he wasn't the one who time traveled he'd probably feel the same exact way but alas it was the truth

"Guys, I'm telling the truth. I made a big...big mistake."

Barry's facial expression turns to that of defeat as he lowers his head with a slight groan still feeling the effects of his fight with that mysterious speedster

Aurelia seeing her brother's palpable expression is the first one to go over to him as she kneels down to him and puts her hands on his knees
