After informing the team—well, at least the few who were willing to listen, given the lingering tension—Barry found himself back at the crash site, his thoughts racing almost as fast as he could run. The air was still thick with the scent of scorched earth, the remnants of whatever had landed crackling softly under the weight of the unknown. The world had changed in an instant, yet again, and Barry could feel the weight of it pressing against his chest
That's when Lyla Michaels arrived. The director of A.R.G.U.S. carried herself with the kind of authority that left little room for questions. She had been at the scene of the incident and based on the look on her face, Barry could tell—she already knew more than she was willing to share
Later, at S.T.A.R. Labs, Lyla stood before the team, her voice steady and clipped as she revealed the truth; the aliens were called Dominators, extraterrestrial beings that had been monitored for decades
Lyla revealed that this wasn't visit as Barry could feel a shiver run down his spine, his stomach had turned; it wasn't fair though, he'd already been dealing with so much over the fallout of flashpoint and now he had the dominators to worry about
But of course Lyla saw different telling Barry not get involved before she left the Cortex; but Barry being Barry knew that, sitting back and waiting for others to take action wasn't an option. His entire life had been shaped by moments where inaction led to tragedy, where hesitation meant loss...He couldn't afford to stand on the sidelines
Aurelia: Maybe, Lyla's right Barry.
Aurelia spoke, still processing the information she had received
Aurelia: You don't wanna make this worse.
Barry clenched his jaw. Worse? He had already made things worse just by existing in this fractured timeline, and now the universe was throwing aliens into the mix. He couldn't just do nothing. He had to act—because waiting had never saved anyone
And if the Dominators thought Earth was defenseless, they were about to learn exactly how wrong they were because Barry had a plan forming already
"I won't just sit back and do nothing."
He told his sister as Caitlin stepped forward, just as concerned as the rest
Caitlin: But what are you gonna do, Barry? You can't take them by yourself.
"Who said anything about taking them on by myself?"
Barry walked out of the cortex with team flash looking on; It seemed that Barry was going off to put his plan together

Oliver had been on quite the journey in the last decade; from being trapped on Lian Yu, to Homg Kong, losing allies, coming home to Star City with one goal, going up against big bads who threatened him and everything he loves but through it all he never forget the most important thing: The city needed saving
Laurel: I just think that it would look cuter if we gave Sarah a haircut.
Oliver: Laurel, I love the dedication to our daughter. But we're kinda in the middle of something.
Oliver said as he walked down the stairs of the abandoned building
Oliver: Do you see anything?
Oliver asks Laurel, from their apartment, since Felicity had left the team, she has taught Laurel all she needed to know about computers... though she was still getting the hang of it
