Walking inside the house I've been stalking for days was beyond easy and beyond suspicious. This should not he this easy. And we all knew it, but it was too late to go back. Not that I would. I've collapsed through every layer of grief and insanity to get to her, and I am not pulling back now.

With a sure step, I went forward, checking corners and walls of the well lit house. It's quiet. Too quiet. The only noise is the sound of the ticking clock in the room over, each click ringing like a bell.

Slowly and carefully, we made our way through the place and to the kitchen wall where the magic tricks of disappearance had been going on, and it was clear how. Behind the kitchen was a small hallway, and in that hallway, there was a door that leads to the basement, which is definitely not a basement.

Hella went on first, her paws making soft clicking sounds as she taps on the wooden floor, and she walked straight to the said door, sniffing them.

'Where do you think you're going?!' Hoseok pulled Gyumin back as he tried to go first

'I thought you wanted in. If you can hack their keypad, by all means...' Gyumin's sarcasm has been growing rapidly, especially now that he's gesturing to the door with a half sarcastic, half creepy smile

'No need. I've got this.'

Like my one and only taught me long ago, I cracked the pad and rearranged some wires. All of these are different, but she sure made me learn them all. Just in case, she said. At the time, I was focusing on her hands and her beautiful face, observing her smile as she happily explained it all. It took a few times for me to start paying attention to anything but her, but it sure is coming in handy now.

'Told you I was paying attention.' I smile a little to myself as the door whirred lowly, signalling that they're open, and her laughter echoed in my mind.

'Someone's here.' Jin whispers, and in a second, we all hid behind the walls, waiting for the incoming.

Less than 10 seconds went by before 4 guys walked into their silent deaths. I killed one with my knife, digging it deeply into his eye. Jungkook broke one's neck. Hoseok shot one right in the forehead, and Namjoon followed Jungkook, and squished the guy to death. They had no idea what happened, as it happened so fast.

'Okay. Let's go.'

Opening the cracked door, blinding light from the hallway beneath was screaming a secret hideout.

'Such a brilliant mind and he has a fucking keypad on his base entrance.' Gyumin snickered mockingly, and I can't even blame him

'Because it's most likely a trap. I wouldn't really laugh if I were you.' Yoongi warns him

'Thank you. I do love the positivity.' Gyumin plasters another sarcastic smile, making Yoongi shake his head in annoyance

I pushed ahead, not giving two flying fucks if it's a trap or not. At this point, it's too late, and I'm too close to go back. She's here, and so is the man who killed us both on that field.

The hallway we were walking down through was quiet, and the further on we walked, it became more and more high-tech. It almost looks like something out of some dystopian movie, with the walls turning from white concrete covered with damp and mould, to modern bricks and better lighting. Even the ground beneath us at some point switched from old concrete to shiny marble tiles.

'They don't suffer from poverty.' Jin muttered

'Fuck the money. How long is this fucking hall?' Jungkook hisses, and with right

Sure, we're not moving fast, but we have been walking for nearly 5 minutes, and there's nothing but the long hall in sight.

'Guys, should we smile and wave?' Gyumin asked with a bit of tremble in his voice, pointing to the corner of the walls. White, modern cameras were facing both ways of the hall.
