RAIN POV
Yoongi and I waited 4 more minutes after the first guys ran out of their base, equipped for war and in a hurry. They were fast and effective. They were obviously trained for this, as they all ran silently, and to an exact car, in exact groups. And in those 4 minutes, 16 cars and a truck left their street or base. But only one I really needed to see.
'There are roughly about 70 of them on their way to you. No sign of Shadow.' Yoongi informed the crew
'I don't think he's here.' I mutter
'Doesn't matter. We don't need him to be.' Yoongi says as he checks his stash of bombs, then takes my hand in his once more time, giving me a gentle squeeze. 'Are you ready?'
'Fuck yes.'
He smirked and let go, and with that, we jumped out of the car.
Dashing across the street and sneaking into that third house in a row was a piece of cake. It seemed like every single person they had under here was now rushing to the other side of the city, exactly to where we needed them.
Jimin did tell me briefly about the underground and the locks and such, so I wasn't surprised when I found one on their door. A shitty one. It took me all of 25 seconds to break through it, and then we were running down the hall Yoongi told me about.
A long hall of white tiles and lights, leading only one way. It smells like the room I was kept in. Metallic with a hint of must. I swallowed down the memory, focusing on what's waiting in front.
Every 50 feet or so, we'd stop and place a small looking pack on one of the walls. One of Yoongi's creations which he was proudly explaining earlier, telling me how much damage they can actually make.
He made a ton of them. Literally. He is a walking nuclear bomb. His body is covered with stacks of little packs, and I went straight to mirroring him. We also both have a backpack full of them, with about 50 in each. We won't need that many, as he said himself, but he likes being thorough. Just in case.
The hall is not as important, it's the base itself. Being in here before, he ran a step or two ahead, leading the way, while I covered our backs.
'They must have been panicking like nothing. There's not a soul in here.' He commented breathily as we kept running, rushing to get it done
First part of Jimin's plan; lure them in.
Second part; bye, bye base.FLASHBACK
'So that's it? We go after them?' Hoseok asks
'That's step two.'
'Two? What's step one?' Jin follows up
'Step one, we lay our own trap.'
'Elaborate.' Namjoon squinted
'We go back to the house. Tonight. Make them come to us. They will send most if not all of them to us. We keep them in the house, fight as long as we can. Just enough to give Rain time.'
'Time for what?'
'To get into their base.'
I was shocked to my core that those words left Jimin's mouth, and I wasn't the only one. Every single one of us was frozen, looking at him and thinking he went mad. But he didn't.
He took my hand in his, and swallowed as he spoke again. 'They won't expect us to come to their base, especially not Rain. Shadow will expect me to be stuck to her side like a newborn to his mother, and in general, couldn't be more true. And as much as I fucking hate it, I think that's exactly what we need to play into. This has always been personal, now more against me than her. He will come for me. If they send word that I'm at the house-'
