Kanmani was getting ready on her own she wore a light blue saree with minimal make up and braided her hair neatly. Her mom was busy preparing food and her father was talking with the groom's father.

(Phone call between aaditya's father and kanmani's father)

( Arjun smiled at them)

At kanmani's room

Lakshmi: hey... Unna koopadranga Vella vaa

Kanmani: dho... Varen maa.

Kanmani's pov:

My mom called me to come out so I opened my room door and went near kitchen where Anjali was standing with a coffee tray which she handed to me with a teasing look. I sighed nervously and took the tray from her hand and went towards the hall.

I saw the groom's family smiling at me when they looked at me, I greeted them and silently went towards them and handed over their coffee. At last I went near the groom whose name was Arjun I suppose.

I looked at his face for a second while handing him the coffee. I am not gonna lie he looked really handsome and smart. I don't know why I started blushing unknowingly when he looked at me. I quickly looked down and moved away from him. I heard him chuckle when I looked down. His base voice gave me chills.

Arjun's pov:

When my parents asked them to bring the bride I quickly whispered near my mom's ear,

{Arjun: what's her name
Devi: kanmani.
She replied calmly.}

I don't know why but her name was really cute. Her name remained me of my favourite song from my favourite movie- "KANMANI ANBODU KADHALAN FROM GUNA".

When she entered, I don't know why I couldn't stop staring at her face she was draped in a beautiful blue silk saree. She was kinda short. Her sharp small Jasmine eyes, her soft fluffy rose like cheeks, her slightly red chilli nose, her small ears and her baby pink lips which was topped with a bright sunflower smile. ( She reminded me of pennala pennala oodhapoo song )

She greeted my parents and gave them coffee. when she came near me I Stopped breathing and she stared breathing a little harder I guessed It was due to nervousness. She looked really cute though. When she handed over my coffee we shared an eye contact for a second. She broke the eye contact first and looked down and moved away from me. She was a blushing. Her cheeks turned pink. I let out a small chuckle looking at her.

Aravind: kanna maaplaiya maadiku kootitu po ma. Poi rendu perum pesunga.

Kanmani: seri pa.

At terrace-

They both stayed silent. Kanmani did not like the silence and started the conversation.

Kanmani: enga indha marriage ungaluku sammadhama? Illana family pressurela accept panningala?

Arjun: illa ma enakku sammadham dhaan..... Unaku ma ( dei ivalavu naala kalyaname vendanu soniye ippa avala paatha odane enna aachu? Oru Vela love?? Chi chi.... Vaipu illa da.)

Kanmani: enakum okay dhaan( ennadhu idhu avaru ma nu solli koopta ulla Kulu Kulu nu irukke... Oru Vela love aa? Chi.... Vaaipu illa)

Arjun: seringa tell me something about yourself

Kanmani: naan kanmani and I work as a professor here. Hmmm..... I like music and I love reading.

Arjun: that's it Vera edhuvum illaya? I mean ur favourite colour, food, dress.

Kanmani: ohhh... Colour- black and green, Food- nariya foods pudikkum, Dress- perusa edhuvum illa but grand and glittery dresses pudikadhu..... Now ur turn.

Arjun: ok.... En Peru Arjun and I work as a data manager in Madras. I love watching movies and playing cricket. Colour- grey, food- biriyani, dress- jeans and shirt.....

Anjali: ummmm... Kanmani Anna ungala keela kupadranga.

Arjun: ok varom... Kanmani enna solla poringa?

Kanmani: ( I felt happy hearing him calling my name idk why) enaku ok dhaan.... You?

Arjun: same......
