I thought things are starting to get better or so I thought.
After our trip to Mt. Banahaw... Fabio stopped seeing us. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, I just know na hindi man lamang s'ya doon nagpalipas ng gabi. Pat told me he saw him, but he couldn't figure out what happened and even asked me but I don't know a thing as well.
The days became busier too because of work. I couldn't tell anything to my son, I tried contacting Fabio but he even blocked me. I tried going to their house afer work pero hindi ko s'ya naabutan. I went to Sta. Maria too but the guard just suddenly told me I'm banned from going there. I asked Reuben and kahit sya ay hindi ganon kadalas makausap ang boss n'ya.
I wanted to cry, because I don't know what happened. What's gotten to him. I don't know why this even happened when I'm finally ready to tell him. I couldn't focus, hindi ko alam paano ko hahatiin ang atensyon ko sa pagitan ng trabaho at paano ko mahahanap at makakausap si Fabio.
The day of celebration for the success of PUB1 came, I thought it was already my chance but even that thing... They didn't let me attend it. It felt like I've been shut out from his life overnight at hindi ko alam kung bakit. I tried to ask Koda but he told me even Fab doesn't talk to him.
It's almost Christmas break and the office is getting a lot busier dahil lahat naghahabol makapagpasa ng papers before holiday season. It took me sometime para makapagadjust ulit pagbalik ko ng K.Y. I had a lot of engagement because of what I did recently. Hindi ko magkandugaga kung alin ang uunahin ko. I couldn't even go home early to eat dinner with my child because of it. Andami kong inaasikaso, while still trying to reach out to Fabio. So they can finally get to know each other.
December 7... Despite the chilly night of December I tried waiting outside their house. I heard from Kai na umalis sila Kuya Falco at pumunta sa States, dahil doon sila magpapasko... Two weeks from now pa susunod si Fabio sakanila so I tried grabbing the chance.
I waited... And waited... And waited.. until it was past midnight.
Until a car pulled over. I saw him, I finally saw him after a week of avoiding me.
"Fabio," I called him at lumapit ako. Nilingon n'ya ako. But I couldn't read his expression.
"D-do we have a problem? M-may nagawa ba ako?" I asked and he gave a stare as if it was the stupidest thing he heard from me. Pero tumalikod lang s'ya at naglakad papunta sa gate kaya lumapit ako and I accidentally held his hand. To my surprise... Bigla nyang tinabig ang kamay ko, even accidentally scratching it. Something change... It was an oddly terrifying change.
"Ano bang kailangan mo?!" He yelled... He looked annoyed, he looked... so disgusted of me. Hindi ako nakakibo.
"Uhm... I was just... I was just wondering ano bang nagawa kong mali? Why did you suddenly started avoi-"
"Tapos nako sa'yo. What else do you expect? I will stay after all the things you did?"
"I... H-hindi kita maintindihan... I thought, I thought we we're already ok-"
"Tapos na, nagsawa na ako. Tinagalog kona para maintindihan mo. Now just leave me alone," he said at tumalikod ulit sa'kin pero humarang ako.
