"Ben... Benjamin is missing? H-how could you let that happen Pat-"

"Hindi ko alam! He was just there outside in his room kinuha ko lang yung ibang papers when I came back he's gone!" He told me Pete and Gwynth are looking for him already. Nanlambot ako, isa lang ang pumapasok sa isip ko.

"M-my... Parents... My... Shit! Shit! Bakit?! Bakit ayaw nila akong tigilan!" I screamed at napasabunot ako sa ulo ko.

"I-ikaw where have you been?! Anong nangyare sa'yo Rowena? Where's your other shoe-"

"I need to go, pahiram ng phone mo-"

"Saan ka pupunta magbihis ka muna-"

"I said I need to go Pat! Pupuntahan ko ang parents ko... S-sila lang ang pwedeng kumuha sa anak ko-"

"Mum!"

Pareho kaming napalingon sa tumawag sa'kin na pumasok sa pintuan ng hospital. Hindi ako nakagalaw. My son was waving at me but instead of being happy he's there, nakaramdam ako ng galit habang unti unting papalapit sakanya.

"Benjamin saan kaba nanggaling huh?!"

Out of rage... I accidentally yelled at my son, but it was too late to take back.

"Sorry mummy,-"

"Sorry?! Do you even know what you did?! What trouble you caused me?!" I must've scared him cause I don't really yell at him.

Benjamin started crying, but I was really mad and tired, I was also worried about him. About everything. Especially with his condition. I was just worried, akala ko kinuha na s'ya sa'kin, nakaya nilang gawin yun kanina, it's not impossible my parents would do it again, lalapitan kona sana si Benjamin para mag sorry at punasan ang luha n'ya pero may biglang nagsalita.

"What are you doing?" Napalingon ako sa biglang sumabat. He looked mad for what I did. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at hindi s'ya pinansin.

"Let's get you to your room Ben-"

"Rowena."

Dikona talaga sana papansin but he continuously spoke again. I know I've been eager to talk to him, but not today. Hindi ko na kaya ngayong araw.

"Is that how you cope up with your childhood experiences? Making your son feel the way you felt before? You're better than this Rowena."

"Ako na magdadala kay Benjamin sa taas. Benj susunod nalang si Mommy ok?" Said Patrick. Hindi ako kumibo at isinama nga ni Pat si Benj. Napalingon ako sa glass wall ng hospital.

I look like a total mess. I'm not wearing any shoes, gulo gulo ang buhok ko. Napasinghap nalang ako at inayos ang buhok ko.

"Tell me Rowena, are you supposed to treat your child like that?"

"Not now please," I whispered. I have no energy to deal with him anymore. I was so drained with everything already.

"What now Rowena? Ano? Gaganyanin mo yang anak mo? After all those things you gave up you're just gonna treat him that way-"

"You know nothing Fab, please just don't talk, wag ngayong araw na'to," mahinahong pakiusap ko. Wala pakong kain, my body is aching from all the running I did earlier, o hindi kaya tulog dahil sa lahat ng tinrabaho ko... I can't bear to hear any words from him anymore.
