"You should learn how to do at least simple blocking methods," Izuku had successfully knocked Amari to the ground once again in a slow sparring match."I'm not the one who has been fighting all their life," Amari groaned, feeling his hair stick to his forehead. "How did you live like this all your life?"
"Kill or be killed."
"Something tells me that you mean that literally."
Izuku rolled his eyes, not bothering to help Amari up.
The two boys were given the training room for one on one drills since Izuku was in charge of training him as ordered.
It had been 2 weeks since Amari took the deal.
In that time he's learned a few things about the greenette.
1. He's quiet normally unless he gets the slightest bit of passion about something. Then he'll talk a little more.
2. Loud noises make him uneasy.
3. He doesn't show any kind of emotion.
Amari has tried making jokes, but he could never seem to put the right words together to even get a small smile out of Izuku.
"I think we should take a break," Amari spoke still on the ground.
"No villain is going to let you take a break during a fight," he put bluntly.
"I'm more of a sit behind a desk kind of guy when it comes to being in the hero world."
Izuku rolled his eyes once again. He lost count of the number of times he's done that since meeting Amari.
"We only have 10 minutes left before the next class starts so I guess we can stop for the day."
"Thank god," Amari groaned letting his head fall to the mat, his eyes shutting.
Izuku looked down to the teen. He must have been the weakest person in the building including the littles.
Killing him would be easy. That's probably why he was given the order to train him.
"You're the weakest person in this building, you know that right?" Izuku put bluntly, not caring about Amari's feelings.
"I figured. You and everyone else has been drilled with training. I just have my survival skills on the streets."
"Yet you can't block me."
"Like I said, your drilled with training since forever. Creeps on the streets are not."
Izuku bit the inside of his lip, looking away from the boy, going silent.
Amari sat up thinking about the words he spoke mixed with his reaction.
"I'm sorry," he apologized, finally standing up.
"Why are you apologizing?"
"My normal and your normal are completely different. You only know this place, I forget that a lot."
Izuku was taken a back by the apology. It sounded genuine to him.
"What's wrong?" Amari asked seeing the slight change in Izuku's face. It wasn't much, but when it came to Izuku, the smallest movement was also the largest.
"Nothing. We should get back to our room. We aren't supposed to get in the way of the others," Izuku grabbed Amari's arm and glitched them back into the room.
Glitching with 2 people was something new Izuku was learning. It was easy for him, but Amari learned that he was not used of the power that would run through him.
